These two have it right! I would prefer Vinny to just entirely spoil the selected games for himself so he can subtly steer Abby in the right direction for the benefit of keeping the video entertaining; gotta be honest here, the fact that Abby never once realized that looking at the ground every time may not have been the way to play ended up completely killing the entertainment of watching her play for me.

EXCELLENT!, I love this feature so much. Waiting for the next episode reminds me of being a kid when your favorite show aired once a week....... it didn't suck, the anticipation made it all the better!.......

I'd love to see you play 'Imscared' but I'm guessing some things that game does might mess up video capture.

Game does a shit job of explaining mechanics:
"UGH WHY IS ABBY SO BAD AT THIS GAME THAT EXPLAINS NOTHING ABOUT IT'S MECHANICS!"

Ignore the idiots, Abby. Some of these games are trash, and you guys make them legitimately entertaining. Keep on keeping on.

This game seems like a mess.

This video reminded me of the issues I always had with Slender Man. It starts out great. Decent atmosphere, somewhat intriguing story, solid spookiness with plenty of great little genuinely scary moments both scripted and emergent. Then it immediately devolves into this item hunt that's more frustrating and tedious than engaging or unsettling.

At the start there are all these awesome little moments where you just barely see him in the distance or lurking in the shadows or out of the corner of your eye. Or you get those little static-y hints and ominous music saying he's nearby. But then while you're chasing down papers it becomes so formulaic. He just pops up behind you. And after the first time he gets you the thrill is kind of gone because it's telegraphed so much.

Also, as others have pointed out, yeah this game does nothing at all to fill you in on what you're supposed to be doing and how, even while giving it your full attention. God help you if you're trying to hold a side conversation while playing. It barely...barely points you in the right direction at the start while exploring that house. The upstairs bedroom Abby spent approximately 4 seconds in shows you the direction you should be headed, at least. But even with that knowledge, it's not super clear what to do from there other than "I dunno, just walk around and look at shit."

Great intro and my favorite series. Abby and Vinny have such great synergy. I hope they play phasmophobia!

The timer on the camera doesn't reset after you're caught. I'm not sure what that implies exactly, but definitely... something.

@abby so needs to play RE7 VR for this. At the very least, she should play the trailer/demo where you play the camera guy. That's short enough to be played in one episode.

@spwn Thanks for the link. I do remember them saying she had played some but never finished it. They talked about her possibly coming back to it at some point. I guess I just want to see her play more. I love that game.

oooh i might have to watch Marble Hornets again, its been a good few years

I went back and watched that video. I had forgotten about it until Vinny did the voice modulation and pretended to be one of the dolls talking, "My name's Annie...He got shot in the butt!" Pretty classic Vinny. I'd love to see @abby play more of the game. She stopped right before what I thought was the most fun part of the game (trying to sneak around without "Daddy" finding you). I'd love to see her play it without Vinny cracking too many jokes, since it is a genuinely fun and scary game. It'd be perfect for Six Crazy Frights.

I'm loving Abby's background setup now. It's so aesthetic. Mondo cool, even.
