@danryckert Very excited for the Mega Man Zero/ZX Collection. They absolutely hold up and Zero 2, Zero 3 and ZX Advent are among some of the best Mega Man games ever made.

I'd fight a human-sized Koala. They're incredibly stupid and probably couldn't defend itself.

I think a human sized giraffe might be beatable. It would be like a great dane with a long neck and no teeth. Just watch out for it's headbutts and try to take out it's legs.

@glok1132: I had this thought during that email as well. A giraffe is like a super weirdly proportioned horse. It does really seem like their spindly legs would be a weak point, but I’m guessing it’s a horse situation where even though they look bony their legs are probably super strong. Still, giraffes seem beatable to me. Every other animal mentioned by the cast seems like it would be too good at defending itself.

Also, MAYBE I could beat up a human-sized flamingo. The beak is scary, but again, there are spindly, possibly fragile legs.

@bisonhero: I'm not gonna fight any human size bird. Birds are dinosaurs and viscous. Even a human sized giraffe would have really strong legs but they couldn't lift them that high because giraffes are taller than everything around them so they don't need to kick things at or above their level. Deer will get on their hind legs and kick at people, but a giraffe won't really be able to do that. The headbutt is the only real threat. I think I could win that fight. Also I have thought way to hard about this.

Have you seen the damage a normal sized Koala can do, these motherfuckers are pretty much cranky 100% of the time. You wouldn't want to fuck with a human sized Koala you'd get fucking split in two.

Why would it be weird for the Walking Dead creator to own and influence the video games based on the franchise? It seemed like we got a decent South Park game (Stick of Truth; haven't played Fractured But Whole) when the creators actually invested time in the property instead of renting out the license.

I'm gonna be the party pooper and say there's been enough Mike on the Beastcast for a while. Hasn't he been on the podcast 3 times in 2 months and that's excluding the premium content he appears on?

I'd liked to hear Alex's thoughts about Control (beyond the Quick Look). Maybe some day Jeff B. might tell us whether he tilts pinball tables on purpose to recover gutter balls.

I went to a Christian church when I was young and totally agree, however the service was relatively short compared to some of my Catholic friends. Most of the Christian church services were around 40-45 minutes, and I think Christmas Eve service was actually shorter. My Catholic friends would talk about having to sit through a 1-1.5 hour Mass.

Vinny is the best, but I came away from the news segment on the recent abuse allegations in the industry feeling like they mishandled it. I can understand that they believe it's not their story to tell and want to highlight others who are doing more responsible reporting, but you can do a better job than they did here. They use notes, so it should have gone something like this:

"This is an issue that we want to highlight because it has a tremendous impact on our industry, but other voices who are supremely qualified have examined these issues. We suggest you read the following articles:

ARTICLE-NAME-1 by ARTICLE-WRITER-1 on ARTICLE-WEBSITE-1,

It sounded like he wanted to signal boost other reporting but they didn't really succeed.

Take the extra 5 minutes to put that together. It's worth the work.

Have you ever seen carnivorous snails/slugs? They're terrifying! One carnivorous snail basically sucks in prey that is then raked across its 6,000 teeth.

Sloth immediately came to mind for me.

Also, Mahardy is fucking insane if he truly believed the words that came out of his mouth, and Dan has very little concept of "scaling."

Mahardy is really showing his Irish heritage in that animal-fighting discussion.
