It really needs to be said, Day of Reckoning's story mode, and that of its sequel, while better than what was in Wrestlemania XIX, aren't very interesting and even less so in the context of this series. I know Alex and Dan hate the Smackdown legacy titles, but they have enough goofy stuff in them that would make this a much better watch.

How about some multiplayer Fire Pro or All Stars, while watching clips of the crazier bits in wrestling game history in between (story modes, glitches, created content), or have Dan and Abby collaborate on a WWE2K14 created story and let Alex play through it fresh?

So many options and so much potential of where this show could go, but right now I feel it's hampered by a lousy mode and two people sitting around bored out of their minds. You gotta get Abby and Vinny into the mix more than them just asking Dan questions.

But what do I know?

They definitely felt more engaged last week (I think doing the voices made people focus on the game). Here it felt a little like a wrestling-focused episode of Blue Bombin' - Alex is off playing the game and they occasionally check in with it whilst talking around it. Entertaining, but kinda missing the point of the feature.

Now that's a good idea.

This Dan-based religion talk is incredible. And now I'm picturing a remake of Sister Act starring Dan in which he teaches the nuns to sing religious versions of Springsteen and CCR songs. "Fortunate Nun", anyone?

I was... Admittedly not expecting the end of this episode to involve into a Futurama-esque examination of omniscient/omnipotent theology. But, hey, I guess that's what this is all about. One moment Abby's throwing up shockers, the next Dan is constructing his godhood. Watching him go from vague, but sheer benevolence to still-vague but vengeful moralist to such thorough divine-right corruption all in real time was fascinating.

Vinny being into Matt Hardy V1.0 is so great.

I saw "Blockers" during SXSW and it was good. Granted, seeing it in a rowdy crowd makes it more fun but the trailers for the movie make it look like a dumb comedy. Which it is but it had great moments in it. Cena, as usual, is awesome.

The talk about pooping in the ring reminded me of Dusty Rhodes and his muffler.
