We spend nearly four hours debating which games deserve to win Giant Bomb's 2009 platform awards, as well as our overall Game of the Year, in this mammoth Bombcast.

The Giant Bombcast is the world's most beloved video game podcast, and now it's available in video form.

Games are there to entertain. They can be as arty as they like, but that doesn't make them a good game without the core fundamentals. Who are you to tell someone that they're wrong about Flower being a bad game? I personally have never played it, but opinions can never be wrong. And if the majority of the GB crew didn't warm to it, then it makes sense that it didn't make the cut in their top 3.

@SatelliteOfLove:  No, this music in these episodes are only to run from the thanksgiving episode to the new year.  It will just add to the awesomeness of it.  Plus the old one is just a classic!

@burrito67:  hopefully, it's now 1:20am in UK and im tryin to sort my sleepin habits
(sleepin from 6am til 2pm) out that were ruined by playing Dragon Age during this holiday by staying awake until tomorrow afternoon and i dont think ill be able to do it without a 2 hour distraction from tiredness.

I listened to this again in preparation for this year's GOTY and MAN, what a GREAT debate between two amazing games. I still say Arkham Asylum was the better game (yeah, the bosses were no good, but seriously FUCK those blue dudes), but I loved every minute of listening to them go back and forth.

Yeah this is an amazing debate, personally I go with Uncharted 2 since I can still pick it up and have a blast
with it and be amazed at how amazingly Drake interacts with the enviroment; but damn Batman was good too.
