I really wish I would get a job soon. I really want some MP Transformers.. Arcee (First Edition, Prime), MP Soundwave, and a Shockwave... Started watching "Robots In Disguise" and I sorta want a Strongarm as well.. *Sigh* But before that, I really want the Mega Man X figures as well... And some Turtles... Someone, please, give me a job in 2017!

In the process of securing an actual crate of Mass Effect 2 copies for Alex. Haven't seen the video yet, but several friends have told me he's been pining for a copy or two.

Yo Vinny, if you're getting into Masterpiece Transformers I would highly recommend going for the newer ones. As cool as they are, the older Masterpiece toys were designed to be a larger, more complex version of their G1 counterparts. With MP-10 Optimus Prime they refocused on making them as show-accurate as possible, without the usual concessions of kibble hanging off of one mode or the other. Some of the older ones, like Soundwave, are still really cool, but the newer stuff is amazing. The new Megatron they have lined up has me salivating. There's also a really fantastic Ultra Magnus that's freakin' HUGE!

The only ones of the newer Masterpieces I would avoid are the Hasbro version of Hot Rod and all versions of Shockwave. The Takara Hot Rod could also transform into Rodimus Prime's vehicle mode, while the Hasbro version only has his robot mode as it does not come with his trailer. Shockwave is really out of place in the line, having a horrible kibble backpack and completely the wrong colors. There is a fairly affordable(as these things go) third party Transformer by the name of FT-03T Quakewave that I highly recommend. It was designed to be in-scale with the Masterpiece line and has the proper colors, as well as an LED eyeball! Careful though, because this may lead to you falling down the rabbit hole of fan made Transformers.

I believe Alex mention on one of the Beastcasts that he never really played the Mass Effect games, so I guess people keep sending in copies of Mass Effect 2 hoping he'll play it on the site. Personally, I would love to see a Mass Effect Trilogy ER by Alex, especially with the new game coming out next year.

I think most of these toys are used, and just like how it is with Child's Play, hospitals probably can't take them.

I'm happy for Vinny and Max! It's a great time to be involved in Transformers. RID really is a fantastic line for the littler ones, and Combiner Wars is solid fun for the more patient or slightly older (or a lot older). Grab a voyager and four deluxes and you have enough moving parts to keep you entertained for a full work day (I used to work with tech support at a call center and would bring a handful to keep my hands busy and my mind at ease during long calls, so I know that works (though maybe I crossed the line by assembling Devastator at my desk)) without getting as frustratingly convoluted as, say, the movie toys.

Man, fun! Fun stuff. Great gifts.

If i have one wish for Christmas it would be to have a Gbeast Waaypoint Gundam Building event in 2017. Each build one then they trade them to paint them off stream and come back and trade them back. All painted with like the site colors with like custom model name like GB-E Zaku Custom and the V-WP Tallgeese. If they Dont do this please some who can art Fan Art this please of the Waypoint and Giantbomb Custom Gundam mechs
