@jbuchan76: that's a shame as game of the year is the best content in many ways. I don't think this means hitman wins game of the year. It may just mean that hit man had a great fun Christmas level with all the decorations and Santa

Vinny is a surprisingly good hitman!

Just a heads up, Santa doesn't only appear at Christmas trees. And that wooshing sound is him teleporting away, while the jingles are him arriving in a new spot. I had hoped for a connection between where he appears and the number of jingles, but it seems like the sound's just randomized.

@antipode: agreed. Santa does a 7 minute loop. A video of his route online was posted by a player called GuLe if anyone wants to see it.

Love to see Vinny rock the combat knife. I use it instead of the fiber wire since I unlocked it.

After a year of watching Dan and Brad fumble their way through the game, it's weird to watch someone who is actually pretty good.

Vinny does the first thing that comes to his head and goes for it.

Brad weighs a hundreds approaches, does a couple of them a little until it all crumbles under him and he's frozen not knowing what to do next.

WTF is with the editing? The long spaces with no action accentuate the incredible moments of action and wit from the team. I dont want no pewtie pie. I really hope this was due to a problem with my internet and not a conscious choice on the part of giant beast.

but really though, don't you think it's a bit shitty that brad always gets called out for the same shit people love vinny for? but whatever; people are gonna join whatever love/hate bandwagon they wish and it won't matter what i say. :)

You should be thankful, though. Cause how else could you "defend" Brad from these vicious, cold blooded crimes against humanity (which are also known as opinions different from yours) and be a "hero" if no one's "attacking" him?

This was good, really got in the mood for the holidays with Vinny's lethal shenanigans. Also my two cents for the Brad/Vinny debate; Vinny makes even more dumb decisions when playing in front of a camera, but it helps that he embraces the chaos.

@glots: Yeah I re-watched it sober and I think it was a combination of issues... ;)

Man, Brad gets WAY too much undeserved crap. I really hate seeing it.

He does and I have no idea why people are so bothered with his playing style or why they spent the energy pointing it out every video.

I prefer VInny's style of play over some other unnamed individuals (but I love them too); when Vinny has a plan he tries to stick to it.

Something seems wrong with the brightness level lately in Hitman and other GB East game streams as well, if I remember correctly. It seems like something in the chain is set to Limited (AKA "16-255" colors) HDMI, as opposed to Full (AKA "0-256" colors), or vice versa - so when the signal is sent in that format, it looks all washed out just like these videos lately. That or something is expecting Deep Color or HDMI Low Black Level, in a similar fashion.

I'm sure your setup is a lot more complex than I realize, but I bet that some piece of the equation needs to be set to the proper signal type or the other components need to be changed to accommodate the piece that is not able to handle the signal as it is, for whatever reason.

For example, many TVs and other equipment like HDMI receivers don't properly report what signal they need and therefore, say on the PC, the NVIDIA drivers guess wrong - so it needs to manually be set to "Limited" or "Full" to fix it in the NV Control Panel. I'd guess something like that needs to be done on some part of your streaming setup, maybe not even the PC or console itself, but another splitter or capture device maybe?

Man, this blew up in a way that was unexpected. I made the original post in a lighthearted manner just to show my surprise at the different play styles. This was in no way intended to create a Brad vs. Vinny debate! Like what @ravelle said, let's all enjoy them equally.

Yeah, noticed once we started going. Sometimes driver updates seem to knock this back. I'll try and get it sorted.
