DiscoHippoLetsGo • @jibanyan said:@nightriff: I guess I'm speaking in terms of how loosely this Playdate seems to be formatted; it's literally somebody showing off a coin collection while somebody else plays Guitar Hero II. That rules. It's weird because UPF's looseness is kind of the premise of the whole thing, but it feels more... rigid now? It's still a show about the duders showing whatever they want to show, but it can feel like they're going through the motions sometimes.(The episodes like the one with Dan playing DDR while the others try to build a computer, for example, are a nice change of pace from the usual formula.)PREACH! I love all the content that's produced, but honestly I think this needs to be talked about a little bit more. UPF has become exactly that formula. I know it's unreasonable to expect "crazy unprofessional" antics being planned/naturally happening every Friday, but the way everyone just lackadaisically shows off something they wanna play for 15-30 minutes is boring. Maybe it's just cause the series started off so hot, but lately I don't even watch them. And that makes me sad.
