Giancarlo (oh god I probably spelled that wrong, right?) didn't had much to say after his Gamespot talk, did he?

Anyway good Podcast, but there wasn't that much to talk about.

I also skipped the Molyjam Part, sorry Patrick.

Journey's multiplayer: do no one on the bombast played demons souls huh?

huh?

so you didn't play demon's souls multiplayer mode either. great.

Everything original they ascribe to journey's multiplayer was done in Demon's Souls, and much more. Other than the fact that you had to "opt-in" by using the colored stones.

I was more confused at your grasp of the English language in that original sentence.

Was it that much different from Dark Souls? I didn't get around to playing Demons' Souls. It seems like the only thing you could compare to Journey was the sudden invasions. It sounds like they're more impressed with Journey's seamless multiplayer where dudes just come and go without any input from the player at all.

the coop version of the demon's souls multiplayer was pretty close to journey. only communication through preset signs, random people with no name, completely co-op. voice chat specifically disabled in demon's souls. the difference was that you had to drop a stone in the world to to allow others to join your game. I always just did this by default whenever I started a level and got to play with a bunch of really cool people. they didnt go that extra step and make it default mode.

there was a whole pvp version too with the black stones or if you were in living form. everyone seems to focus on that for some reason. although the Old Monk boss fight twist was super-cool when you got to play it in pvp mode.

Giancarlo was almost painfully reserved on this show. I feel like people who work at Gamespot these days are afraid to express themselves freely, which is hopefully something that will change with the new direction they're supposed to be taking.

It's like there's no accumulated memory from the user base. EVERY guest is pretty reserved and kinda quiet cause they're ON A FOREIGN PODCAST. Most of the time when you go on one of these, you don't want to butt in too much because you don't want to upset the dynamic. If he's a recurring guest, I'm sure we'll hear a great deal more from him.

Jeff Green, Jared, Adam, Johnny, Rich? None of them are very reserved on the show.

Developers are the ones who usually act that way because they're in PR mode all the time.

Patrick says that he wants to love new Silent Hill games. I do not believe him.

I know right! He hates the combat...okay, fair enough. Then he goes on to say that the puzzles in the Silent Hill games were horrible. No Patrick they weren't. Yes, they were simplistic in the mechanics of solving them, but the clues and riddles that you have to solve to get there are quite challenging, at least the first time through. Finally he complains about the puzzles being vague and obtuse just for the sake of being vague and obtuse. Well shit Patrick! WELCOME TO SILENT HILL! In the quick look you talk about how you love the vagueness and how they don't really explain anything in previous games. He is too wishy washy in his opinion for me to take seriously.

Isn't Patrick supposed to be the news guy? Capcom already announced the prices for the DLC weeks ago, 12 characters for $20. Compared to $20 for 4 characters for MK9 its not that bad.

Obviously no one posted it on Twitter.

I'd hardly call "Rich" a guest. He was the host of The HotSpot way back in the day. I'm ALWAYS happy to see/hear from him. Everyone is. That man made me want to do radio. No offense to Ryan, but I'd be happy to listen to a Rich Gallup podcast again. Johnny and Adam fit in pretty well, appear more often that you'd expect, and were probably drunk most of the time they were on the bombcast.

I can't speak as much for Jared and Jeff Green, but they've both been on the Bombcast more than once, and they both seem to blend well with the mix of crazy.

I'm more curious why Brad is so quiet sometimes. Does he sleep during the podcast?

I know I'm way late to this, but Vudu has had video sales and rentals on the PS3 for about a year and a half.

As the person who posted the Youtube video that started Iron Sheikamania several years ago, I was pleased to hear him discussed on this episode.
