If they are referring to the Red Letter Media reviews of the Star Wars films around an hour and a half in, then my suggestion is to just imagine that the guy is doing a really good Zoidburg impression.  It makes those things infinitely more enjoyable, and provides a temporary false reasoning for dude's voice.

Holy shit I love the last 2 minutes of this podcast. Swatch internet time, it fills my needs.

Loved the ending, but what exactly is the point of Swatch internet time when we already have Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) which is fills the same purpose and is already widely used everywhere? It's not "metric" but it's the same for everyone no matter where you live.  It's much easier to translate into standard time as well.

Regarding that fading out mid-discussion thing - my other favorite podcast (a german one) does that every single time. I guess it's supposed to be professional, but it comes off as the sound mixer being an utter dick.
