Unfinished: Grounded

Played for about an hour, before going to bed, it's neat. The game told me to make a lean-to, so I could sleep through the night. I saw one spider during the day, fighting some stinky beetles, it was so big, I said to myself I am not f'ing with one of those at night...by myself.

Edit: Vinny wanted a map marker, you should be able to craft them.

Played this with a friend yesterday and it’s Forest with small people. Which is absolutely fine.

There are more “Field Camps” in the world than one. You can research in each and every one of them, so the timer on the analysis is just a gameplay thing, not something that’s gonna be like “if you don’t want to wait it’s 3 bucks”

Also VERY important: Hot craft. If you need woven fiber to craft something you don’t need to go to the tab every time, you can craft that directly within the tab of the thing you’re about to craft (this sounds very weird and I’m sorry, don’t know how to explain.)

Also collect EVERYTHING - you’ve been walking by tons of stuff that you could’ve picked up. :D

The game seems pretty alright, another one I wouldn’t have noticed without it being on Game Pass.

Spiders: like 25

Humanity: zero

The spiders being an instakill seems kinda wild, but I'm sure if people actually had armour crafted for all their slots then maybe it would be better? Also I'm guessing the game doesn't have a lot of enemy types other than ants and spiders right now, so maybe the spiders are tuned to be much harder now than they will be in the final game once they have a more gradual enemy difficulty progression. Or maybe the GB crew was missing something obvious.

Gosh, this must have been so relaxing for Alex after coming from that Sea of Thieves stream. Hearing him coo over the ladybirds is very cute.
My friend and I tried to play this last night but whenever I clicked on Multiplayer on the menu it would just do a loading circle forever, so we're gonna try to come back to it another time, I hope they fix that soon, 'cos this looks fun.

This was a fun stream, good to see what the game is all about. I'm shocked just how little story content is in it right now though.

Man you guys have to give the stream to an Abby or Vinny next time :(

As someone with pretty severe arachnophobia, I'm really disappointed that you guys didn't let that anti spider setting turned off. I can't watch these videos now.

I played this for a couple of hours yesterday and had some of the most terrifying moments I've ever had in a game. When the wolf spiders come for you and start jumping it is horrific, everyone in my group was in tears laughing after running away. Also the noise they make is truly truly unsettling.

The game itself is janky and runs like crap but it's a lot of fun at first. I think once the terror of spider attacks wears off it won't have much to offer until they add more locations.

Also Brad's commitment to resource gathering is wild. Giant spider 10x his size chasing him and he stops to pick up some dry grass and dies.

@dya:You should be safe to watch up until about 0:38:00 , at which point you will definitelywant to stop the video (specifically, you'll want to stop the video before 0:38:09, when Brad encounters a spider the size of a monster truck)

That was the point that I had to bounce out, personally. Your mileage may vary though. If your particular phobia also applies to stuff like ants, you'll probably want skip the video altogether. Hope that helps a fellow arachnophobe!

This seems cool...and probably a lot more fun with people that played together instead of 4 separate people doing their own thing.

Really have enjoyed my time with this game so far. Played on my PC with Game Pass Ultimate, while my SO played on the xbox. She enjoyed it too, even though these types of games aren't usually her cup of tea. Excited to see where it goes!

so those are some giant ass ladybugs or some really tiny acorns.
