Love the show! I can't always catch it live, but this is definitely how I like to consume my weekly video game news.

I'm so glad we finally have a Metro Detroit-native on the GB team that comes to the defense of our glorious Little Caesar's. I've had to listen for years this website constantly trash on one of our many pinnacles of pizza.

@madmatt213: As someone who grew up in Baltimore, everyone I knew considered Domino's to be the absolute trash tier, followed by Pizza Hut, and then LC was the preference. Personally I found Papa John's to be the worst, even before I was aware of what a giant shithead John is. All that being said, family-owned pizza restaurants were our Friday night venues of choice, and it got to the point where one would recognize our phone number and just prepare the order without asking what we wanted.

As for Civilization (appreciate the answer, Jeff!), I'm really torn about whether I'd like them to make a Beyond Earth 2 or just go straight into Civ VII. I didn't like the change from V to VI for a long time, but I eventually came around to VI being my game in the series of choice. But with Humankind on the way and a lot of interesting takes on the 4X genre out there, I really don't want a Civ VI reskin. I'd prefer to see what sort of big swings they have for the next generation. Been playing every "Sid Meier's ____" since Civ II, so I will probably buy whatever they announce regardless.

Jeff Grubb is the hero we all deserve, very correct, no rules regarding Pizza, do what you want, enjoy what you like, and stop yucking people's yums, how can you be a GB fan and want to ever to do that!

Little Caesars was never bad. Perhaps the best budget pizza you can get outside of a frozen one from the store.

I couldn't care less about video game news. Also, this show is my comfort food. Just love it for some reason. I like Jeff's vibe.

I have a lot less faith in the Steam Deck having a large knock on effect, getting developers to target it specifically. It really depends how much it sells and how much of an active userbase it has. Lets not forget that years ago VR was getting so much hype it was widely believed by now all the top studios would be making VR games or putting a VR mode in their games, but instead it's remained largely a novelty and the one console that supported an HMD isn't saying anything about continuing that development for their latest console.

Pineapple on Pizza.

What a gentleman.

Pinapple on pizza is gross as heck because pineapple is gross as heck and I'd rather die than eat a pineapple pizza.

But that is just my personal preference and I will proudly stand by your side and fight for your right to put pineapple on your pizza!

Then again this is Sweden and pineapple pizza is about as pedestrian as it goes with pizza toppings here. Try Banana-Curry pizza with dressing. Or why not an entire combo meal with burger and fries inside of a calzone? Or a fancy pizza with löjrom (Bleak Roe)?

Pizza is just a cheese melt with whatever topping you want to put on there. If it is edible and you enjoy it then it can go on pizza
