Great game. I played three chapters of it or whatever was out of it at the time. I don't know if I feel like playing it anymore, but I'm glad they were able to finish it. It has some good moments.

Back in the day at their best, Talking Heads would of thought well of this game.

I don't know if Alex planned it or not, but the lyrics he chose for the song were the ones that Ben Babbitt picked for the soundtrack release. Just thought that was a little funny coincidence.

I finally got around to reading 100 Years of Solitude because it was always mentioned when any discussion of this game took place.

Having mainlined Acts 1 - 4 over the past few days, I 100% agree with Alex's sentiment that you kind of miss something by not having played it over time -- I haven't given it a chance to digest or be replayed or discuss it with others, and I think that will add to the experience. That being said, it's still a damn fine game thus far! Very excited for the finale!

The intersitial for Act 5 is extra crazy because it has a live-action counterpart that you can watch on the website wevp.tv (the name of the station.)

I agree with Alex, that was my favorite scene and Junebug and Johnny are my favorite characters. Also, KRZ is a soundtrack that I would love to own on vinyl.

Seems like I might enjoy this better as an audio book rather than "playing" something that my choices don't really matter.

I'm in the same situation as Alex. I've heard from countless people endlessly over the past 6 or 7 years about this game but I knew exactly *nothing* about it, except perhaps that it was either episodic or perpetually in Early Access, until I listened to last week's Beastcast. And even then I still *barely* know what it is... so we'll see where I stand after this QL and whether or not I get motivated to try it.

Great to see some Alex and Vinny content again.

Lots of talk about flavor. Is this the Guy Fieri simulator we’ve been waiting for?

I played these episodes as they were coming out and waited a long time for the last episode to show up like many others. I had some excitement over Act V because the whole thing leading up to it was weird, and I like weird games, and was hoping for more of a payoff in the end. There were some good moments in the previous acts among some mediocrity that benefited from the acts being short, but I found Act V to be a conclusion that feels more like an epilogue. It was cute, but I honestly dozed off a few times during the hour or so it took to play, and I was left unsatisfied. Maybe I should go back and do the whole thing over again, but it was sort of mediocre with weird aesthetics 7 years ago too, so I probably won't. It's artistic for sure, but I would never point a non-gamer to this as a shining example of why video games are art.
