It's a fucking crime how amazing L4D2 still is.

I have played dozens of hours of L4D2 and have never played as a zombie. My friends and I always rolled as survivors. Crazy to think that this game that I spent so much time with it has an entire other half that I've never even really seen. Happy to see some more of it being played.

I think the initial part of this video (all i've seen) is out of sync?

@doomed: The new "campaign" has two parts and is not very long, so unless they wanted to show survival maps for a Quick Look, they probably do not want to just play through the new campaign.

God I love Left 4 Dead and miss the time it came out.

Yeah, Left 4 Dead was really something special and still is.

I like vermintide but the endless flailing away rats wasn't as engaging to me, hopefully that new Warhammer 40K version of that will bring some of that left 4 dead vibe back.

Will valve ever make anything ever again?!

There were these 10v10 servers on PC will a whole store system. It was amazing. One of the coolest player designed mods I've played.

I used to play so much Left4Dead 2. Honestly this bums me out thinking about how much Valve has squandered of these last 10 years.

I love seeing this game coming back so much because of the new update. It really reminded me how hard this thing is out of the box until the muscle memory comes back.

Given that Valve is one of the most dominant companies in the industry thanks to Steam, I wouldn't say they "squandered" the past decade in the slightest. ;)

A little stressfull to watch this. Really happy you checked out this amazing game again. A classic, and really fun to play as the infected.

Abby is so quiet. Damn whoever told her she was too loud. I just watched the first few minutes. Hopefully this gets fixed later.

@iggnight: yup. Although the levels are low on everyone for me but I'm amazed anyone thought she was too loud (then again, she's normally the loudest one in most videos for some reason).

I think this entire stream Rorie thought the Tanks were Chargers.

Who am I?

This is coming purely from a 'Someone who cleared all L4D1 Campaigns on Expert'/too much time spent playing L4D, but do any of the other L4D1/2 veterans have a constant mental dialogue that is basically a backseat driver? I know this set of GB crew are not ZOMGodlike FPS games players but, for whatever reason, the mental 'you're doing it all wrong' is really strong for me on the L4D vids. I hold them blameless as it is a wonderfully old game, not their forte, and take it as the 100% entertainment value that it is.

This stream is a confluence of things that appeal to me. Too much time spent playing L4D, LOST quotes, and Rorie joining in on the fun.

Yes. But same. They're just having fun and didn't dedicate hundreds of hours to the game like I did.
