All the best guns are from DLC every weapon that Alex uses is form DLC

Just a heads up Vinny and Alex, do any and allrecruitment and loyalty missions you have beforeany main quests (like the IFF one). Main quests are stuff you receive from the Illusive Man. There's some silly timed stuff that can trigger arbitrarily from main missions.

I remember not realizing how great the Mattock was until ME3's multiplayer. I used the hell out of that gun in the MP.

Hey, the Reaper IFF mission is pretty much the point of no return.

If you want some interesting conversations regarding the geth and quarians you should wait to do Tali's loyalty mission until after the reaper IFF mission and bring Legion with you! You can squeeze two loyalty missions in after the Reaper IFF so it is possible to do.

Great job on this episode, Alex. You breezed through two encounters that are quite difficult, and were basically the bane of my existence on the Insanity difficulty... Can't wait for Illium!

I'm so happy they unlocked the Mattock!

Also, hold off on the IFF mission as long as possible, it kinda hurries you into the main story.

The audio (Vinny and Alex's voices, specifically) definitely sounds off. I don't know enough about audio to identify what it is, though. I checked on HTML5 Auto/HD and Progressive HD, if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the feedback. It's probably the compressor I put on to raise up the gameplay since it was a bit lower in the mix this episode. As long as it's not actually clipping and distorting is my main concern. Thanks again.

Man, Tali's theme in this game is a banger.

I forgot how creepy the atmosphere in the Collector ship was. That disturbing squishy noise that pervades until shit pops off. Also, pretty nonsensical that Shepard gets a new weapon proficiency out of nowhere there now that I think about it. If you're playing the Soldier class (or another class that already has access to Assault Rifles, Snipers, and/or Shotguns), instead of that respective proficiency, you get an option to pick up a dope new weapon. That at least made some sense because the Collectors are rich and have resources like good guns just sitting there. I wish the proficiency thing was better explained because most other things make sense in Mass Effect.

Just echoing the choir here, but yeah, don't start the IFF mission until you want to hit the endgame. Without spoiling anything, it starts an invisible timer where if you don't rush into the endgame soon after, an unpleasant thing will happen. Nevermind, Alex said he knows. Ignore this.

Yep, dude really fucking sucks. I really enjoyed his character Casey in Chuck, had no idea he is the worst IRL until I was deep in. They definitely played off his, uh, right-leaning tendencies several times in that show. I remember seeing an interview with Yvonne Strahovski (also from Chuck, but voices Miranda in this game!) saying she had to block/mute his garbage twitter feed lmao.

Maybe I should give Chuck a rewatch...

DO NOT COLLECT THE REAPER IFF UNTIL YOU'VE FINISHED LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE (except for Arrival. Do that post-game.)

Oh man, Alex's Cryo Bullet power was left unused. Would have been a big help in slowing down or outright freezing those husk swarms.

Should activate that power on every gun you carry at the start of a mission so that's always at the ready.

Even without it he's kicking a lot of ass now. The fights go down super fast and he even killed those bosses easily.

The most important thing to do after the IFF mission, however, is to bring Legion along for the Tali loyalty mission.

Tali's mission, music, battle is so good, fuck man.

Can't wait for Thane, fishbro is the best.

Damn I was fucking dying with Garrus's onslaught of battle-commentary. Shit is so stupid.

If not for these wacky space adventures and assassination plots I'm now 100% sure that Garrus would have become a high power business executive that had a dining table full of space-cocaine every day.

Also, why does Shepard only figure out to bring another gun when she sees a pile of guns in an alien ship? There are plenty of guns in the Normandy? One of the gamiest bits I've seen.

They should definitely delay the IFF mission until basically everything else is complete. After that point it starts to become a straight shot to the end and straying off the main mission has unfortunate results.
