Gosh these games make me nerd out so much, I always poke into reading up on some of the details associated to these games. Victorian era fashion, Hobo signs, insurance etc.

This games got some very interesting details to it, it must've been quite fun researching all that stuff to apply to the game. Also its fun to see them experiment with some of the camera and cinematics, pretty funny.

Super happy to have this back. Still have to finish the last few videos though.

@ybbaaabby This game is based on the first Nancy Drew story, which was published in 1930, so that's probably why they went with the retro theme.

I adore 1930's aesthetics in general and am really loving the feel of this game.

Not only was I happy to see a Clue Crew but that Hobo sign thing made me remember that this was one I played with my sister when she was young.

For whatever reason, this and many of the other Nancy Drew features aren't showing up in the Clue Crew playlist on the Roku.

Man, Alex's Paula Poundstone comparison for that innkeeper's voiceover was so on point. Would not have made that pull myself, but now I can't unhear it, haha.

Lol, also the Mega Man cat tank - Alex on fire this episode with some good goofs.

It could be because I rarely drink soda anymore but I like Moxie more than regular colas. The taste is difficult to describe. Think of a mix of cola and root beer but more earthy/rooty. It's the only soda I ever really crave anymore. No, I don't live in Maine.

Funny that John Hodgman comes up yet it's completely unrelated to Hobo Signs. His book "Areas of my Experience" was my real introduction to him (not counting the Mac ads) and the "facts" about hobos was a good portion of that book.

That golf game was excruciating to watch, what a badly made mess

So, love Clue Crew and Abby all told, but I'm starting to get the feeling that most of her humor is basic sex joke, other bodily function humor, or "I'm young and don't care about whatever you care about!". Not that there's anything inherently wrong with any of that. Just something I'm starting to think.

clue crew is weirdly calming

Saw those 'Hobo Signs' and all I could think of were the Skyrim thief guild signs... I've probably played too much of that game
