The "can only see invisible platforms when shrunk" thing totally confuses me. I know it's Wonderland, and logic doesn't really have a place, but... why put that in the game?

Origin is crap. EA has lost me as a customer till they start supporting steam again.

This QL might have finally sold me on Alice. Think I'll get this and Child of Eden this week.

This just confirms my purchase, looks great in all aspects. And yes, finally a 3D platformer that makes no bones about it.

It is funny, yes. Actually if you look at it in some weird way and compare the two. When steam started it was horse shit. When EA Download Manager came out it was at least working without flaws... +1 to EA

About the game tho, looks great. Can't think of the last straight platforming game that came out, part from Mario or Ratchet and Clank.  

Okay, yeah. If you're going to incorporate platforming in your game, ledge clinging needs to be in it.

Great QL, been expecting this one but keeping in the dark on seeing much of it until it came out to just dive right into it.  Madness returns & Alice herself looks lovely.
 
Really enjoyed the original American McGee's Alice & highly recommend that game as well as the soundtrack (well all but the 2nd to the last song- Happy Ending, just breaks the atmosphere of the rest of the soundtrack).
 
Also enjoyed this great trailer from the original.
     

The platform stuff in this game gets boring fast... it doesn't evolve. The combat is good though and the visuals are great... Definitely buying it when the price drops.

This should be turning up today, I haven't really been sure what to expect out of the game for a while now, but I wanted to support a publisher like EA actually giving a game like this a chance and I'm a sucker for this sort of art direction even if it has become a massive cliche.

Edit: Between what I've seen from reviews (even if they haven't been terribly kind) and this Quick Look I can really see this is a game I'm going to enjoy now. Call me crazy, but I love these kind of games. Hell, I even got a lot of enjoyment out of Epic Mickey and this game looks markedly better than that.

This game looks awesome. It seems like it's been a long time since a 3D platformer came out.

Oh nice, this actually looks like a Darksiders/Zelda hybrid. I liked the first Alice so I may be checking this out.

I'm also tired of Giantbomb crew being shown what to do by a game, either visually or through text, and then constantly going "Oh God I can't figure out where to go/what to do/how to do this!"  I understand you're trying to talk, but you're also being more than slightly retarded.  If you're too tired to actually see things on the screen don't do the quicklook.  I love, love love love quicklooks.  But between two guys watching the same screen I want one guy pretending the shit going on with said screen is relevant!

I love that pepper grinder Gatling gun concept. That's so cool.

I had absolutely no interest in this game, nor had any idea what it was about before the QL. Now I am ready to buy it. The aesthetics are so damn impressive and interesting, and it looks like a fun game. I look forward to the review.

Man, I don't think Ryan could finish a video game without a pathfinder. I understand he's talking and trying to think of important information about the game, but man. It's like he's never played a game before. He'll jump to a platform and then rather than going to the next visible one in reach, he swings the camera around and pauses and seems like he's completely lost.

Check out 30:10. "Where am I supposed to go here?" Meanwhile there's one path forward.

Also, what a bunch of idiocy about Origin. Vinny never stops talking about how much he hates discs, but he's so committed to not using Origin, he'll go buy a disc. Are we supposed to believe he's never used a single other online retailer other than Steam? That's just being Goddamn petulant.

When I think about it, it's exactly like their opinions about Uplay. Basically, they don't like anything if it isn't called Steam. Good thing Ryan or Vinny don't plan on playing any Blizzard products to see battle.net integration.
