Why have your own video player when the YouTube player is better in every single way? Loads faster, mouse cursor disappears quickly, seeking is easier, easy to switch video quality on the fly. It's just better. People better use it the most, because if they don't I won't understand that.

Looking around it seems quite a few people took issue with the controls. I'm kind of curious to try it out myself though.

Just noticed what the outside of the building looks like... and I know a barcade that looks eerily similiar to that in Eugene, OR. Freaky!

So, Rick Pennywise making $800 in 1982 is a lot. Using an inflation calculator, that would be the equivalent of a little over $22,000 today.

It's been a long time but we finally get another Vinny Jeff quick look.

This makes me want Jeff to revisit Gameroom.

I use the HTML5 player and it works fine for me.

I don't understand why you care what other people use, though. Doesn't seem like you would have a vested interest.

I prefer the Giant Bomb player all the way. It doesn't fuck up like YouTube does every now and again.

Don't know if you've seen the number of views on YouTube, but I'm fairly certain it's nowhere near close to the numbers on the site. To be fair, my ideal viewing scenario is a YouTube app on my TV, but the site player is good unless you're a total videophile. Better than it was by a county mile.

Suggestion for future Vinny-involed quicklook:

You could have made this Quicklook longer if you would have fired up Euro Truck Simulator 2 for a couple of hours at the end.

I'm just putting that out there.

This game would have been the shit if they used real arcade games/ cabinet art. Also this would have been really awesome if you could actually pause the simulator and play your arcade games... would have paid $40 for that...

It's day every five seconds by my count so it would take about 3 hours to get to 1986 and 16 to get to 2013.

I think that is a little harsh considering it's a $3 game. I think the core is solid, it just has a lot of room left for making it deeper. If someone would take this to real sim levels it would be freaking rad.

California Extreme: The Game?

Sweet. I just got this game yesterday after Gary Whitta's recommendation. It's great.

The dream team, the Vin team, Jeff and Vinny.

I love how Vinny and Jeff's ideal game would is Cart Life with Bump 'N' Jump.

Some total Game Room vibes the first five minutes of this quick look. Fortunately this game looks kinda fun.

To my knowledge, a lot of the older videos are only available in 360p on YouTube, while they’re HD in the GB player. I actually thought all GB YouTube videos were 360p until I checked this one and noticed it was available in 720p — is this a recent change?
