I'm excited to play this just like I played Revelations back in 2011 -- in between long sessions of playing actual good games like Fallout 4, Witcher 3 and Just Cause 3.

Surprised they're acting like this violence is somehow upsetting to them. It's not even that bad here honestly. Connor was way more brutal with his kills than any other Assassin who came after him.

Playing as twin assassins is kinda cool, but I'm having trouble getting interested in this game. I feel like AC is in need of another serious formula change. It's just all the same every time.

Assassin's Creed looks like QuakeWorld more and more. Your team has the yellow brightskins and the opposite team the red brightskins!

I think I'm ready for another Assassin's Creed game. This seems okay. I want to play it, but I just won't have time for the foreseeable future. Maybe it'll be something I grab next year during a lull.

My thoughts exactly! It makes it seem like the gameplay or whatever's going on is complex when it actually isn't at all.

The design philosophy of the missions in this game seems almost antithetical to that of MGS:V. This coupled with the fact that the mission design hasn't evolved that much since ACII (which was 6 years ago), makes this game seems kind of archaic.

Edit: Things that look good: the music seems to be influenced by the score of There Will Be Blood? Anyway, from what I heard, it sounds good. Also, the game world looks pretty gorgeous, both from a technical and artistic standpoint.

Jesper Kyd is not the composer since AC: Revelations, for this game is Austin Wintory. And I believe PC version next month?

Vinny and Austin have to be playing up this befuddled act concerning the violence right? I'm happy they've managed to turn things around, but with MGS, Witcher, and Fallout I think Assassin's Creed is now just odd man out for open world games. Since the meta-story died off this series seems more like fun open world filler at best instead of a series I want to keep up with year-to-year. But really I don't have dozens of hours to put into another one of these.

The PC version isn't out yet; the PC version comes out in about 20 days, I believe.

Boy, this sure is another Ubisoft game. I mean, of course it wouldn't be anything new or different, but come on.
