The original (Hebrew in this case) pronunciation is bābel. Not babble, not ba-ble. It's the same way in Swedish, which is why I noticed it. English seldom matches the "correct" pronunciation of other languages, in my experience.

I don't want to blow anyone's mind or anything, but Brad doesn't seem very good at this game.

Ryan, Greece stole that font from mesopotamia's ancient language. Which was just lines like that.

I thought that this QL would seem short and sweet, being under 15 minutes. 5 minutes in, I started zoning out. I forced myself to watch the rest of it, but man, this game looks brain numbing.

This doesn't look like any more of a game than when I was 10 and imported cities into Simcity 2000 so I could destroy them in the city editor.

Don't you sort of feel like an asshole playing this? Killing a bunch of little guys working as a team to build something amazing. Also it looks insanely dull.

I think it's kind of ironic that, now that the world is finally coming back around to some sort of lingua franca (ie. English), people will always be fighting over how 'Babel' is pronounced. Well played, God :)

I guess they've finally made a true Tower Defense game.

Sure. I didn't mean to completely throw Brad under the bus (I mean Vinny asked the question in the first place), just that to residents of Korea and Japan, suggesting ANY significant parity/synonymy might be grounds to get slugged in the neck. And thus, subtle nuance in a sociohistorical context might not be in the purview of our correspondent from the Cackalacks, ie calling Brad out about not knowing the vast distance culturally and geographically between Babylon and Greece is probably not really a fruitful endeavor.
