Also, as a person who just wrapped up Witcher 3 after playing it for 3-4 months, hearing Geralt's voice is really triggering something.

The Thompson submachine gun wasn't that terrible of a gun. It wasn't the most reliable firearm and the drum magazine wasn't the best for wartime use but it was still a good close-range weapon and the .45 ACP bullets had great stopping power (though lacked penetration power).

I would totally watch them play more of this. This game is interesting.

I can't wait to play this...in a year. Damn episodic games making me wait.

What's with Giant Bomb East and murder mystery type video games? First it was Contradiction, then Until Dawn, now this.

There is only about 5 more minutes of this episode left, so I don't think they are going to do a Playdate of it. They pretty much played 90% of the game, and did not realize they were just two small scenes left until credits.

The 24 hour diner that used to be near my house was called the "Americana Diner", so I'd totally eat at an American Diner.

This looks like if you took all the things that people have done recently to revive "noir" as a thing and blended them all up into a raspberry, kale, and noir smoothie, and you didn't actually follow any of the things that tend to make something -actually- noir.

Awesome they're covering this - I played through/reviewed it the other day and it was surprisingly good - a little jank to be found at the beginning but there were a few sections that totally redeemed it.

While the whole Hindenberg hotel is artistic license (being generous here given how much nonsense was in there), zeppelins weren't just balloons. They had internal structures (think Indy and Bond running to the airplane in Last Crusade) with plans for observation lounges on top.

When they said it's Geralt i couldn't take anything serious anymore.

Wow. By looking at the comments, there is an appetite for this completely mediocre game with stilted dialogue.

This video was good because their commentary was apt. Alex's Deadly Premonition crack was spot on.

Nice looking game, even if a tad janky.

This has a Deadly Premonition-like quality here. Fuck man, I need to see GBE play this game stat.

I wish detective games would get a bit more engaging than 'examine all the things and put the things in boxes to proceed'. Not a knock against this game, but pretty much all those detective games tend to do it.

I might try the latest Sherlock Holmes game, since that one apparently gives you the option to inprison the wrong person. Which might not matter much in the overall storyline, but at least it's a step in the right direction.
