Holy shit, Alex's ASMR videos are back.

You know, as far as actual teaching tools go, this feels fairly solid. It wants you to use turn signals when switching lanes and exiting roundabouts and generally obey traffic laws. The simulation settings seem robust. And the steering wheel integration also works, I think this could be actually useful for beginner drivers.

The sound the turn signal makes is weirdly comforting and nostalgic for me.

The acceleration and overall power in these cars looks pretty surprising. Must be an expensive high performance car only driving school.

Vinny, don't buy a racing wheel.

The car used at my driving school was a brand new 2 litre Diesel Opel Astra with somewhere around 120 hp. That thing could really haul ass on the Autobahn.

Wait, Vinny got penalized for not signalling while pulling INTO a circle? Is that how it works in the US? Because in Germany they say you don't have to signal turning into a circle, because there's only one direction you can go from there. You only should signal when leaving the circle.

As a manual transmission driver, I can tell you that Vinny forgetting to shift was actually making my leg shake.

Yeah I guess this is Alex doing a bit for a long time, but I thought Vinny was talking to himself for a few minutes.

I was a driving instructor and I didn't take no damn correspondence course.

Driving in the US is so depressing, straight roads, traffic lights and grid system cities...

I would love a full on car crash city driving sim game. Like this, but when you crash, its 100% real simulation.

I wonder if @vinny & @alex realize that going off-road to avoid traffic (laws), is about as Russian as it gets. It instantly made me think of these comrades:

@kevino13: As an American I've never even encountered a traffic circle/roundabout/whatever you call them in real life and they were not covered in driving school. So I don't know the official rules regarding them and I'm not even sure I fully understand how they work because whenever I see them in video games I just plow though with no regard for anybody else on the road.

Alex is giving me flashbacks to that weird E3 segment with Steve Gaynor where they started off doing ASMR voices and couldn't punch out of it.

i personally couldnt take alex constant "oh god" and creepy sex voice after about 15 mins ... i was hoping it would eventually say "alright anyways" but it just kept going ... it was a bit much but game looks kinda fun and has a decent sense of speed...

others have said it but give this game the beam NG physics engine and it can be exactly the "crashing into other things" sim we've always wanted

There's a roundabout in Mount Prospect Illinois, and every time I drive through it, everyone on the road is freaking the fuck out and has no idea what to do.
