Quick Look: EX: Rochard

Rocking intro.

The developers seems... awfully patronising during a lot of the QL, but non the less, this game looks pretty neat. Didn't look like much to begin with, but then the timely ambient electronica soundtrack kicked in and the puzzles started. Kinda irksome that it then proceeds to just start giving you guns... I liked the idea of solely using the environment and physics for the combat.

Wibblely wobblely timey whimey indeed.

Kinda weird and nonspecific to just have the name of the game be the last name of the main character, even if it's a unique name. Rest of the game looks good though, liking the main character. This may be a buy for me.

I think it's more of a in-the-moment joke, kind of like the "that's racist" thing Tested has going. It could be referencing something I don't know, but it is a pretty general statement.

It took me a while to warm up to the art design, but the gameplay looks solid.

I like how they didn't trust the British voice actress to be British enough, so they added words like "Blimey" to the script.

I believe it's because Betty Ford died on July 8th this year and the game made a reference to the Betty Ford Clinic

I really like this way this game looks and I'm gettin some Shadow Complex vibes from it, which makes me excited to play it. Renewed sense of melancholy that there is still no Shadow Complex 2 tho.....

Wowzers, there sure is a lot of forcing you through dialogue in this game.

I get a real Shadow Complex vibe from this game. The level design seems to be inspired by Chair's game. I'm totally down with the idea of a more puzzle oriented Shadow Complex.

Looks pretty decent.  I like the setting most and when it's made most obvious that you're inside a space station.   The woman voice actress isn't good I'm afraid.

This looks good, will buy.

I really hope there will be BGM in the full release. 

Kind of wish the dev guest didn't spoil all the puzzles. It's more fun to see them figure stuff out.

I took to this game. If I get bored I'll get it from PSN. But my hopes are for steam down the road.

The structure kInda reminds me of Lost Vikings but the gravity stuff seems like an interesting twist.

So you liked everything before gameplay? Because they said it was PSN exclusive within the first minute of the QL.

Also Brad can be really crappy at games, this was one of those times.

Cool QL, I liked the PR guy they had sitting in on this video. This is the first time I've heard of this game, but it looks neat-o; I like the gameplay a lot from what they've shown here.
 
Seems to be a decent amount of story and dialogue, which is welcome for sure. The astro-trucker vibe that's going on I found endearing, as well as the awkward voice acting from the lady, which is isn't necessarily bad, just a little weird for some reason.
 
Also, I was laughing pretty hard when Brad was trying to stack those boxes near the start. Don't worry, I had trouble with it in Trine as well :) He seemed like he was having fun with the game though, so that's always a good sign.

Brad, Brad, Brad...

Game actually looks fantastic, can't wait to give it a go.

I worked for Sandbox briefly. That game was cool.

The game referenced the Betty Ford Clinic and she just died.

seems kind of cool actually. Reminds me of a mix between Portal 2, Trine, and Dead Space.

This will be my first purchase from PSN in more than 2yrs, that's how much I like the non-abstract puzzles and physics.

I'll be buying this for sure, though I do need to go and finish trine one day.

More of these kind of games developers and less fps' please.

This game actually looks pretty cool. I'm glad they did a quick look of it, otherwise I probably would have missed it entirely.

The dialogue is a bit cheesy though.
