Racing isn't really my thing

I just know that after watching this, I'm going to buy it, was so close to buying the 2010 version, man.

Games have come a long way since Super Monaco GP.

Being a huge F1 fan I'm trying my best to not yell at my laptop screen. Also super excited for this.

what are they playing it on (can't watch at the mo, at work). F1 2010 on my PC looks stunning, so i would be surprised if this didn't look as good as that.

It's amazing how bad a racing game with the same engine as dirt3 can look. Guess you can't do much with asphalt, gras and gravel.

My problem with this game is that I love F1 but hate racing games, I'd probably enjoy an F1 management sim more.

Vinny asking if they are real drivers when Shcumacher's name is covering the screen. I don't even follow F1 but c'mon! Schumacher!

I am a ridiculous F1 fanatic... so I am going to have to buy this - looks like they solved some of the problems with F1 2010.

Have to say, Drew did a good job guessing some of the stuff about how F1 works. It seems the game is designed for people who know about the rules on DRS and KERS and also about Q1, Q2 and Q3 etc. Oh well, I mean, who would buy this game if they didn't like F1?

After seeing the picture for this QL and I already am glad I bought the duder shirt.

Painful to watch... HUGE HUGE F1 fan and have been waiting for this since F1 2010 came out half broken lol... I wish they had someone doing this QL who had a clue.. so they could show off more of the diffrences and updates they made... and not ponder if Alonso and Vettel where real people..

so to answer Vinny's question, not only do they race in the rain, there are racers who actually improve in the rain. (Ayrton Senna was a master of wet weather racing.)

I like F1 but I would never pay full price for an F1 game or any racing game really.

@baldgye: they'd have to hire someone in to come and talk about the game properly for that. come on dude you know that's not how it works. drew seems to be about the only one who likes driving games to any great degree so here he is.

it would be nice to know if anything has been fixed though, granted, but considered that the vast majority of reviewers last year didn't even realise how broken the AI was that's another tall order

F1 is not that well known in USA. I mean I live in Finland and I don't give a shit about F1 but I knew most of the racers and tracks and stuff. That's how the world is.

@Zaccheus: i'm sure it will gain some popularity next year as F1 returns to america for a race in Texas. well, that's if the Americans have forgiven F1 after the fiasco a few years ago in Indianapolis

Kinda disappointed they didn't go into the co-op racing stuff more in-depth, since that is the big new thing in F1 2011.

god, the lack of f1 is unbearable. They don't know shit about f1, and thats kinda dumb. Also the ring around the tires on the inside, is different depending on tires

option, prime etc etc

oh well, usually like drew and vinny to do car stuff, but this was a lot "i don't know" "maybe" "i don't understand"

It's almost as if they lived in a country that didn't know jack shit about F1...

Why would they have to know about F1? I, for example, know nothing about American Football, or the names of anyone who is famous for playing it, because I'm in Europe. Americans don't know about F1. Of course I'm generalizing like hell here.
