Quick Look: Ghostbusters: The Video Game

My excitement for this game has shot up. Seriously must buy for me. Not just because I love Ghostbusters, but it looks like a really fun game!

This game looks alright I like all the cool little details they put in.

I wasn't that interested when this game was announced.  But this quick look has convinced me to check out this game.

This is lookin awesome. I'm not even that big of a fan of ghostbusters. But the game just looks fun and looks sharp too.

It's amazing how much this Ghostbusters game looks like a Fishing game.

I suspect this goes for many looking to buy this game, but my nostalgia for Ghostbusters is fighting my skepticism for this game. The quick look didn't help sway me one way or the other. I know this game is going to get some very "meh"-ish reviews, but somehow I still see myself going out to pick up this game at some point.

Gameplay-wise it doesn't look like a revelation, but I'm impressed with how much detail and care they recreate the Ghostbusters universe.

I'm going to buy this game to support a Ghost Busters 3!

This looks pretty good.  I think I'm gonna grab Amazon's Slimer Edition.

Game looks fun. So exicited to hear the best theme song ever. They should have just that song through the whole game,

Yikes, the game is looking kind of rough.  I hope the game doesn't run so poorly and has a little more polish in the final version.  Any chance you guys could show off the Wii version too?

Hey, considering it's a movie franchise videogame, it's looking pretty good.  I can imagine if you didn't grow up with Ghostbusters it would be pretty alien.  Get yerself some twizzlers and popcorn and rent it.

Hmmm... I don't know. It looks like they spent a lot of time making the game authentic. But is it any good? I guess I'll have to wait and see.

As an owner of Ghostbusters on the NES, all I can say is this game is necessary to vindicate the torture I endured trying to beat that awful commercial crapfest.  Count me in.

Haven't seen Ghostbusters since the early 90's when I was a kid so I didn't expect to remember much, but the game brought the memories back. Still probably won't be a great game. I'm guessing 3/5.

Anywho, the game looks incredibly detailed.

it's nice to hear that even after bringing back the team, the voice acting isn't that great. would've loved to have listened to some of the dialogue. and why the hell can't you play as one of the main characters? I just... *sigh* don't understand. still. IMO it's looking really awesome. I'd probably enjoy it more than Ryan. And it's challenging as well.

My guess is that it's a middle of the road game, but if you're the nostalgic type it will raise itself to a passable experience. At least, that's what it looks like to me. It could be fun, I hope so.
