The first trailer had me interested in this a while ago and I'm glad it's finally coming out. Can't wait.

I really want this game, but I don't really like dual joystick shooters, I'm torn.

Am I hearing Dimmu Borgir in the intro?

I got the game last week when it was briefly on sale in the MS Store. It's fun! The last world is embarrassingly sloppy, but other than that, I had a pretty okay time.

That intro song is the orchestral layer of some Dimmu Borgir song. Progenies of the Great Apocalypse if I`m not mistaken.

I wish it had come out on PS3. Unfortunately I don't use my 360 enough to feel like buying games on it :(

Also, "Desination" typo on the map at the top of the menu (bottom one includes the first "t" as it should). Typos are one thing, but having one in the main menu...

This game is pretty cool. I was lucky enough to snag it last week when it released early. It is really visually stunning and a pretty fun Metroid-ish game. It's crazy how long it's been in development though. 4 years for an Arcade game is kind of insane.

Sold. Soldsoldsoldsoldsold. SOLD! Been eyeballing this game, and want something after getting done with Kill Team.

The intro movie music was the orchestral backing for Dimmu Borgir's "Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse". Fits nicely here.

Day 1 purchase

I watched 10 minutes of this (and nothing of the game before) and already know more than Brad. Of course you can get out of the current, those red grab-thingies are for changing course.

Good thing Vinny is in this, Brad probably would've circled around the current tunnels for half an hour or sat at the boss for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to defeat it. Game looks cool, bring it to PSN.

So many points where I thought this Quick Look was going to end.

From all of the videos I was worried about how the controls would handle, they seemed floaty. Glad to hear Brad say they handle well.

This looks great, anyone know the PC release date? Probably just further down the road, like Bastion. But I can wait :)

I remember watching a trailer for this a long time ago and being fully hyped. because it was Metroidvania with an awesome art style.

Definitely picking it up and glad to see Dimmu Borgir is not "that" type of music which I was worried about 
 
And the multiplayer reminds me of that mode in Fear 3. Maybe they should've named it Fucking Swim

Xbox live quicklooks with Brad and Vinny (a la Limbo and Super Meat Boy) are some of the best.

Ever since Ms. Splosion Man I'm not going to trust a Brad quick look until further notice. I should say that it's within the realm of possibility that the review won't match up with this and I'd rather wait for that and the podcast to pass judgement on Brad's judgement. Judgement.

This reminds me of Pixel Junk shooter. I love that game. This is a purchase for sure.

Brad sure knows how to pick his games for reviewing; Bastion, From Dust, Ms. Splosion Man and now this. Good choices Brad ;-) All great games. It just shows how much better XBLA and PSN games have become last couple of years. Some of them are a lot better then a lot of their full retail buddies.

Being the Metroid fan that I am, I'd love to play this game. However, with Microsoft as the publisher, chances for a PSN release seem to be rather slim. :p 

im looking forward to this on wednesday, kind of wish i hadnt bought from dust now since that means  wont have the points until friday.

I really love the art style, but I lost interest when I saw the metroid gameplay. I hate backtracking in games.
