Game doesnt look too bad (you need to melee though when you're Navi I think, they said that in every dev diary I've seen), but the movie looks awesome.

The alien design turns me off this movie. Fuck those hippi aliens.

I like to wait until a product comes out before I judge it. I'm going to check out the movie. James Cameron hasn't really made a bad product, so I'm not sure what all of the prejudice is all about. It's like, they went "they're blue, I'm not interested," and that's it. I'm going to check out the movie, it could quite possibly be aweful, but at least I'll know it, and not just think I know it.

God, I usually like what the crew has to say, but they just act like douches the entire video. Why would you do a 40 minute look at something you've openly stated you think is dumb beforehand and don't give a fuck about?

they rag on 3d tech, but once it gets popular it should be good. Concidering i have heard nothing but great things about the 3D in this  game. They dont use it "to make shit fly out at you" they use it to give the game better Depth Of Field. 3D in games allow you to actually have background and foreground.  Also, i remember hearing people play WipeOutHD in 3D, and they did this cool thing where the hud popped out at you, so it was actually like you had a heads-up display in front of you, instead of it just being printed on the TV.  But...of course this is all things i've heard on the internets though.

This movie and this game both look made of suck. 
 
The game appears to play just fine and function well as a video game but everything about the plot, world, and situation turns me off the same way the movie does.  
 
Also, unless the Avatar trailers are all lying to us, the movie looks just like Battle for Terra which was also 3D, animated, and made of suck.

damn, the graphics are nice and the jungle looks impressive.  
 
obviously the movie will make much better use of it all.

jesus i hope the movie is better than the game. if "listen noob" pops up during the movie I think I  might walk out

The hate for this movie by the ignorant masses is very annoying. They're blue, so what. Get over it. There are blue people in Mass Effect and yet people don't seem to care.

Well, the game itself looked reasonably decent. Framerate was better than I was led to believe and there looks to be some measure of depth to the gameplay. But yeah, the underlying fiction is starting to look dumber and dumber. Unless the effects are truly mind-bending enough to warrant admission, this could well be a box-office disaster.

well it depends...   sometimes by simply not tapping into certain functions that the game provides you with, a game can be very differnt...  imagine i tell you to play a FPS say... MW2  but you're only allow to use a pistol, no knives, no rifles,  nothing else...   (may not exactly be a good example but u get the idea...)  just by not experiencing something you lose a lot of gamer utility... 
 
i'm not saying it is game changing...  but if you dont' explore it...  then u can't relaly judge it with an objective state of mind...   yes it is a quicklook...  but such quicklooks influence a lot of purchasing decisions...  due care should be given...
 
i just felt if they tried to even use the close quarter combat, they might get more of an adrenaline...  as most games that does it right...  gives u a very good feel/flow when u are constantly slashing up ppl...

What are you going to watch all these 3D movies on if not a 3D TV? Its not just games that are going to make use of this technology. Personally I'd buy a 3D TV for porn.

i do not get the criticism of this game. The design of the characters aren't to my taste, but the animation looks nice and the graphics look good too.  having not personally played it i don't know how fun it is, but it looks like you could do a good bit of fun asskicking up close with one of the blue guys.
 
i dunno, it's not like i'm gonna buy it but the total rejection of this game so far seems weird.

I'd rather this movie and everything tied to it bomb than seeing it do well and having to look at these CG manimals for years to come.

Where is the airbending? I was expecting some airbending.

Movie and game looks boring.  I'm constantly reminded of SW episode 1.  There is some kind of similarity to the Gugans to me.

An uninteresting game for an uninteresting movie.

Game looks good to me, and while the constant slamming was hilarious to listen to, I really don't understand what is so terrible about the franchise thus far. 
 
Also, Ryan sucks at gaming.
