Great video, quick question: Is it possible to capture input events for the video as well?

I think it would be awesome to see the buttons highlight as you press them and the touch screen highlight with touch events - this could get a bit tricky with swipe/drag touch events though, but worst case you can touch it up in post production. Anyway, not sure if it's even possible but I think it would be really cool to see in the video. Thanks!

I am not a Disney fan and whilst I love Kingdom Heart's gameplay, the characters, setting and writing are enough that I am done with the series. I will not subject myself to it further. I would love to see the games' fun and responsive action RPG mechanics to be put in a new Seiken Densetsu or original title, without the Kingdom Hearts baggage.

To anyone defending the franchise I would suggest that, sooner or later, you will get to a point that you can look at the series with more objectivity and will perhaps feel it was not what you once thought it was. The same process that millions of Star Wars fans, including myself, have gone through.

Oh, I'm not pretending the story isn't terrible. But I'm not about to stop playing the games since I am a Disney fan and I still find the gameplay quite fun.

What little was shown of gameplay in Versus XIII I recall the combat they did show snippets of reminding me a lot of KH stylistically. I may have to look it up and refresh my memory because it was a good ago... not that it'll ever come out.

Combat is shown about halfway through

This series brings back so much nostalgia but . . .

@ScreamingGhost:

It's not so much convoluted as it is unnecessarily added onto. There have been so many side-games breaking from the main series that some fans are frustrated with Square's lack of direction. Expanding the franchise is potentially great but with KH, it's even worse than what they did with FF7. They are milking it and veering so off-course that it's no longer interesting, just shamelessly repetitive, regardless of whatever new features or characters they decide to incorporate.

Man, I love the first two games, but these handheld titles really aren't anything I ever want to play. I really hope they bring it back around with a clear focused vision in Kingdom Hearts 3.
