Now THAT'S how you do a Quick Look. Short, concise, funny, and exciting to watch. This game looks like Japanese ice cream. Eat it too fast and your brain hurts but eat it slowly and you can enjoy all of it's sweetness for a lot longer. Thanks for the video.

They never did. Always clueless on price. Though I think Jason has been chiming in with the price when the question comes up now and then.

You'd think by now they would make sure to check on how much it costs, what platforms it's going to be on and the release date. There's been times where they knew none of that except the platform they were playing it on for the QL.

This game looks great. Would love to see some speedruns of this.

God damnit this QL is pure gold.

I definitely agree with the Jumping Flash comparison since it was the first thing which came to my mind even before it was mentioned in the video. Aside from being similar types of games, they are both very colorful and weird in an entirely nonsensical way; Katamari Damacy tends to have some pretty weird stuff at the end of each game, but the actual objects and living things you encounter along the way are (for the most part) appropriate for the areas they are found in, but are placed in odd situations.

The Dan & Drew pairing is amazing.

I was half expecting this game to pull an Eversion and suddenly go all dark and violent.

Not yet. Hotline Miami 2 is coming out later this year.

I would even go as far to say that going into a Quick Look completely dry with no basic information whatsoever is a proud tradition as well.

Dan is great, no one else on staff with the possible exception of maybe Drew or Vinny would say something like that.

Dan brings such great energy to QL's, this is another great one! His reactions to things are brilliant and so different to the other staff. Also with this and Ghostship Aftermath, Dan and Drew take down butts like pro's now. God help the next ones.

I have to ask. At the 2:38 mark of this video, when Jason remarks they're looking into the price of the game, Drew re-iterates "Ken's working on it" with a certain intonation.

Do I detect an Apollo 13 film reference when Jim Lovell (Tom Hank's character) reassures his crew that Ken Mattingly is working on their re-entry plan back to Earth?

I bet you it is. Drew used the same tone and everything. I would love some reassurance though.

Not really feeling the shooting mechanic and this seems far less charming than a katamari or noby noby game but Dan's enthusiasm is fun.

I agree, the audio mix seems weird like i'm not hearing the same music they are, i wasn't hearing the barking or meowing

It's like the Cloud-to-Butt extension became sentient and made a video game.

@drewbert Still a lot of compression artifacting on the video... There isn't any on the GBEAST stuff that's going up so I have to assume it's on the West Side end. Please fix in time for next Mario Party Party, thanks.

6 bucks seems to be a hell of a deal for this game. The art style looks fantastic and it also looks frustrating but fair.
