Wouldn't have guessed this was a 2D platformer based on the name of it.

Feels like I've been hearing about this game for years.

Not having heard much more about this game than the name, I wasn't expecting it to be so mechanics heavy in a classical sense.

So this is third-person SpaceTeam.

That has got to be the best video game title ever.

The low audio on these videos are really annoying, especially when the people on the QL say the music is good. I can still barely hear shit after Vinny "turns up" the game audio 10 minutes in.

Farscape is a great show. I will fight you.

Great show with an amazing lunkhead of a lead actor.

He was great for that role I think and did a good job of it. I will say that while I really enjoyed it until they lost their entire budget and every episode was them sitting in an apartment, it is a show that is kind of hard to go back to now.

This looks like a super fun couch co-op game on Xbox One. Not many out there compared to PS4 and PC.

Makes me sad that this doesn't have online co-op. I mean, I get the appeal of couch play, but that's not always practical.

So is this just a game about space furries?

hah oh my gosh this is stressful to watch. it looks like a fantastic co-op game, thanks.

I love that series - it's right behind Babylon 5 for me. And for me, it's easier to go back to Farscape - the effects just look like trash in B5 at this point. I think Crichton was a great character - they played the whole thing really well: everything around him seeming insane to him, while all the aliens considering him insane for being, well, American. Episodes like "Crackers Don't Matter" just tickle my fancy.

My niche might be people acting insane, now that I think about it. I quite liked Angelus episodes of Angel as well. Not to mention characters like Hannibal Lecter, The Joker, Jack in Shining or Bateman in American Psycho.

But yeah, I can't say much in defense of the actor (Ben Browder), since when I saw him in Stargate SG-1, later on - he seemed very Crichton-esque in that role as well.

Hmm this seems so cool, but I'm not sure I dig the repetitive mini-platforming to go between stations. I feel like that would wear thin very quickly - even with different ship layouts. I wonder if ultimately it would be a better game if you picked your station from a menu.

@austin_walker, please tell me that was an intentional reference to Dwarf Fortress.

Yeah, he always just seemed kind of one-note to me. Nathan Fillion did much the same kind of role to perfection, but I can't even claim to be influenced all that much by that since I saw Farscape well before I started Firefly.

Well, comparing anyone to Nathan Fillion is just unfair. I can't think of a role he has played that I didn't like. Shit, I quite dislike police procedurals and yet, I've watched all of Castle.

Sure, I guess! Anyway, Claudia Black is a delight. I think Claudia Black should be in every TV show. And movie.

And game. Love me some Morrigan.

Honestly, from what I've seen, my biggest issue with this game is how terrible the big, pink, round ship looks.

Hm... a cute version of FTL. Idk how to deal with this... I'm guessing they missed the point naming this game. Point being what it's really about... meh.

Is the title really a reference to the Bruce Cockburn song because that would be very cool. I didn't think the song was very well known outside of Canada. Or is there some higher level reference I'm missing?

Also I agree, that Farscape was great and Claudia Black still is.

They gained some points for really liking Captain Ron, but quickly lost those points when they said they weren't Farscape fans.

This seems very tough but quite engaging. With 4 players this could have really been something.
