Quick Look: Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Anyone else not a fan of Luigi's voice in this? Maybe i've just heard the GB crew's impression of him too many times.

Was I the only one hoping for a Luigi/Pink Floyd mash up? Luigi's Mansion: The Dark Side of The Moon.

I have still yet to pick up a 3DS but I really had no idea the OG had such poor battery life for sleep mode. The DS Lite was a champ when it came to battery. I could just close that thing, come back to it in a month and it's still be fine.

fuck me there's too many good 3DS games coming out now. guess i got mine at around the perfect time...

I legitimately loved Patrick constantly just pointing out to Brad what to do after Brad spends any length of time wandering aimlessly. Please let that happen more.

@krabboss: While I have been frustrated with them missing the obvious cues on quite a few occasions, I'd imagine it's pretty hard to notice the small details when you're also trying to talk . Doubly so when you're trying to be entertaining while you talk,

This game looks awesome! If it wasn't coming out right before BioShock Infinite, I'd buy it for sure.

For those interested in this series, Game Informer just did a Super Replay of the first Luigi's Mansion on GameCube.

Something about the sound design of this game strikes me as really reminiscent of DK 64, which is awesome. The first Luigi's mansion kept me sustained during an extended stay in the hospital 10 years ago, but I never ended up finishing it. Really wish I had a 3DS right now.

I honestly think you just sold me on a 3DS guys. The Gamecube version was so god damn charming, and this looks just the same.

Well, to clarify it's this and the current Club Nintendo offer that's sold me on it.

I'm truly impressed by the graphics: dynamic lighting, dynamic shadows, reflection. I mean, they must have an awesome rendering engine.

This is a fully realized Luigi's Mansion. The other one was more of a tech demo. It is surprising it took so long to make another one. Still, seems pretty tight and worth a purchase.

@brad So just bought this game and if you hit the different directions on the directional pad you totally get different sound readings of "Hello"
