If they care so little about making an acceptable product, they probably care little about its reception as well.

Im sure not everyone working on the product cares little about it. But those guys are at the whims of the designer.

My theory: He was going too fast. The developer fucked up, and didn't put a warning, or a red zone at the tip of that bar. Jeff never encountered problems because he kept the speed in the middle.
