I love that the name of the game is just the Dutch word for giant.

Reus is dutch for Giant, it's a bit difficult to explain how to pronounce the letters "eu" to English speaking folks.

Can fellow dutch duders help me explain to to pronounce it to the rest?

I really love the look of this game and the concept of a 2D god game, but once past the tutorial the game just feels like a giant spreadsheet and I can't get into it.

This is how you pronounce Reus.

It sounds a bit like the letter ö or ø in the Scandinavian languages, which might be more well-known throughout the world than the Dutch eu-combination. No English words with such a pronounciation come to mind at the moment.

Eu is spoken kinda like the vowel sound in "her" in english, bit without the R. Or like the ö in knackebröd.

This reminds me of God Finger for iPhone.

Game looks endearing, but a little... short? Felt like I'd want more environment variations or something like that.

Thought there's a hiddden complexity in the spells, upgrades and projects that I didn't quite understand. Well, the curiosity is worth the $9 -- guess I'm buying it.

I've always found that "God games" tend to end up being relatively shallow experiences, despite some cool concepts, because the nature of that genre is to make player incredibly powerful and acts as more of a sandbox than any sort of gameplay challenge.

This game seems to throw some of the best twists into it that I've seen, both with managing the actions of the multiple giants and what at first glance looks like a fun and interesting interaction system between the world you create and the people living in it. I'm definitely looking forward to buying and playing this, great QL guys.

The Steam page blurb suggests there is more to the game then endlessly trying to upgrade everything including interaction with the villagers, but it's seems interesting all the same as shown.

It's refreshing to see an indie game of this genre (management/building/god game) that is actually out as a full product instead of "buy an alpha" mode.

This game looks like it would be a lot of fun but it just isn't.

Neat little proof of concept and, at least for me, an interesting take on a god game. Would probably pick it up when I have more time or money (or both).

You guys really need to record PC games in 1080, can barely read the text in this one. (again)
