Quick Look: Super Chibi Knight

Are you seeing airships everywhere, or just in games? How long has this been going on?

Except this game looks fun to play for a few hours.

That's strange, because I got some Adventure Time vibes from this Quick Look and the simple, cutesy art style. But that's fine, I really like that show.

I don't mind the chibi style...I just wish they had different chibi art. The art just isn't doing it for me, but that is just a subtle thing because I like the art and level of game play mechanics shown thus far. Yet that art turns this from a must buy to a "meh" for me.

@xbob42: My cousin had The Original Zelda on the Nes back in the day. I would watch him play it in reverence! hoping one day i might have it too. The First Christmas after i got my Nes i asked my parents for Zelda the most! and wouldnt you know it i got Zelda 2! it was hard and the mechanics went over my head because i was only 5 and i had not even heard of experience in games before. I played it out of spite, i didnt like it at the time but i never let my parents know lol. ha ha

Put me in the Zelda II sucks camp. The original Zelda is in my top 5 all time favorite games. And then they ruined it. Zelda 2 is to Zelda as MGS 2 to MGS -- a completely botched sequel where the creators made a series of completely unnecessary changes to the core components of one of the best games of all time.

Count me among those who enjoyed Zelda II back in the day. Over the weekend I was thinking that the dungeon theme in Zelda II sounded like the guitar riff heard during the chorus of Motley Crue's "Looks that Kill" (0:44 mark).

I think I'll buy Super Chibi Knight!
