Another crappy simulation game it seems. :)

This looks like it was made specifically so youtubers would play it for 20 mins and potentially generate some sales. I think the same can be said for a lot of these "simulations". At least try put some humour in it, or go all the way realistic and have appropriately racist taxi drivers.

Is this to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Jimmy Fallon movie?

For a few seconds I thought it was that spinning/rotating taxi game. In comparison this seems....not as fun...

I would actually enjoy this a lot because as fun as it is to drive around like an idiot I've never been forced to drive like you would in real life, could be kinda cool lol

A taxi simulator isn't the worst idea for a cheap game. Obviously I say that with the condition that it is designed with at least some modicum of effort, unlike this game.

It's like they took Crazy Taxi and sucked out all the fun.

Hey, alright a Taxi game. But a taxi game where I'm not listening to Offspring and making Crazy money just seems lifeless...

The driving in this game sounds a lot like the "woosh of skis".

That Offspring Ixnay on the Hombre driving game is wayyyyy better. Or at least that's how i remember it from 15 years ago.

I'll just wait for Roundabout for a true simulation.

The original french movie was 100x better than the crappy Jimmy Fallon remake. The French version was funny, had cool action sequences and the characters were fun to watch. And then they made a dumb and unfunny American version.

If only they made an enjoyable video game.

I live in a fairly rural part of the UK, I don't recall ever paying for a taxi with anything but cash. I'm pretty sure I couldn't pay by card anyway.

I used uber for the first time at pax east this year and some other driver showed up and told me he was my driver. The original guy was pretty pissed....

Red

Red+Amber/Yellow (check your engines wait)

Green

Amber (stop if you can)

To be fair…he's 100% correct. I did a quick google image search for "art museum" and the following pictures were on the first page of results. They're definitely art, and interesting in their own way, but there's no getting around the fact that they're preeeeeetty dumb.

How do people have problems with roundabouts? They are everywhere in Australia and are actually good. Traffic flows through much easier than with traffic lights or stop signs (partly because you can't totally ignore a roundabout).

There's nothing difficult about them. Give way to your right, and stick to your lane.

In some countries the lights change to yellow before changing to both green and red.
The confusion here is that in the US (as far as I know, anyway) the lights change from red straight to green, but from green to yellow to red.

In the USA, the lights go red -> green. then from green -> yellow -> red. Yellow means slow down and stop if you can otherwise ensure you are not blocking/in the intersection when the light turns red. Additionally it is illegal (at least in my state) to speed up to get through a yellow light. (The idea being that if you are speeding up to get through, you could have stopped in time. That's not always the case because our cops need more funding so they setup the lights to get people tickets as much as possible.) This game didn't even model our lights but included our country. Seems bad. It's like picking the UK and not driving on the left side or having couscous amounts of round-a-bouts.

Taxi drivers not knowing where they're going? Sat Nav? Uber Apps?

Or making you learn The Knowledge before hand. Being a London cabbie ain't easy. I have an odd sense of pride that I live in a city where the cab drivers are made to learn it like the back of their hand. It's not exactly an easy city to memorise either.

Fun fact: The 320 main (standard) routes, or 'runs', through central London of the Knowledge are contained within the 'Blue Book' (officially known as the 'Guide to Learning the Knowledge of London' and which is actually pink)

Welp, this looks terrible. All these random crappy games on Steam, can't wait for the summer doldrums to be over.

You know, even if I had absolutely no knowledge of the euro besides it being a thing called the "euro", I'd be pretty confident that Germany would be involved.

They're not here to just look at AAA games, you know that right?

Another fine Excalibur product.
