Honestly would have prefered Dan to run this QL solo and make up his own story.

Anime Vice has really gone downhill you guys...

Who cares. Its a good show with clever writing, interesting characters, and fantastic action. Even though its targeted for kids, it can sometimes be really dark. It can also be really stupid/funny.

But the game is awful.

Captain Planet. He's a hero. Gonna take pollution down to zero... Goddammit! It is stuck in me head now D:

This game is the perfect starter for Bayonetta 2. I'm more than happy to support Korra and Activision making weird decisions like this - no matter the scores. So far it feels great.

Seems like Jason doesn't know that you can charge up your moves in this game, which is a pretty important thing you need to do if you actually want to do damage outside of doing counters.

Jason is pretty dry, (and I mostly watch Quick Looks for the entertainment value), but man, he did a damn fine job showing this game off and explaining how it works and how he feels about it whilst playing.

The core combat here looks fun...it's just a shame that it sounds like there are a bunch of enemies that are shitty to fight.

I think this is actually perfectly tied into Korra. It's probably a dream she's having between Books 3 and 4, where she's at her lowest and so full of pain and self-loathing that she's forcing herself to suffer, therefore the game is totally meta!

@d4rksh33p: He has gone a bit too far in the past on certain subjects, but people getting worked up about such a minor jab is really pushing it. Imagine if Dan Ryckert would throw a tantrum every time someone would say anything negative about his hobbies like pro-wrestling.

People's personal hobbies are perfectly fine and someone else making jokes about them or even straight up not liking them really shouldn't be able to get any real fan so worked up about it.

And this is coming from the person who called Dan out on his tweets about the football world cup.

As someone that bought this, I can officially say that I bought way worse PSN/XBLA games that were $15.

Alright I was on board with Jason until he said that DmC was his favourite one. Nothing has 180'd my opinion of someone so fast.

I'm confused. I hear A. Stryker telling me how bad it is, but my eyes keep telling how good it is.

This game doesn't seem....good. I can't say I'm personally disappointed since I'm not a huge Korra fan (outside of season 3 and 4, I actually think the show is preeeetty bad) and I don't think Platinum is above making a bad game, but wow...

Now, I'm just like extra happy Bayo2 comes out this week.

Come on, Dan's tough manly USA shtick is about as serious as Jeff's hatred of Yoshi.

This guy isn't throwing a tantrum. He is speaking up about his discomfort with how his interests are portrayed. Which is exactly what he should do.

Hey, I like some anime stuff too. But the anime fans who are super defensive about their hobby are amusing to poke fun at, in the same way CoD dude-bros are. It's not malicious, it's light-hearted humor perhaps you just need to lighten up a bit?

I would have loved this to happen in the intro: after Jason tells Dan "this is anime", hard cut. Then the QL is Jeff and Jason, because Dan didn't want anything to do with anime.
