Okay. That's fine. It's also not relevant. There was no red vs blue discussion in there. It was a discussion of a video game based on the 2012 election. There weren't any value judgements made about either side, only about "the game allows me to do this [for example, unleashing a rampaging horde of solar powered tanks into Afghanistan, under the reign of a robot president]".

These games are actually surprisingly deep. They're made by the Galciv people, so that's no surprise. Balancing all the states you need to watch, with money use and stamina, can be pretty tough on higher difficulties, especially so when you randomize the values (New Mexico with 50 electoral votes and their most important issue is "Traditional values" ha.)

If you're really crafty you can even pick up the non-swing states. I've picked up Texas as a democrat and NY/Cali as a Republican before.

They should do a quick look on Oniken available on desura, that game looks great.
