Lets see if Stronghold makes it to the top 10 for Steam sales today because of this quick look. And everyone else will think the world has gone crazy because its there.

Stronghold Crusader EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME

I actually didn't play this one. I played Stronghold Crusader more.

I'm loving everybody's enthusiasm for this game. Makes me wanna go and play age of empires 2

I love Throwbacks, mostly because I get to see stuff I've never played before. GB should make a habit of doing more Throwbacks, maybe 1 or 2 a month. I know that when it gets busy, it gets busy, but surely they have some downtime during the summer months. They could make them member only for all I care, I'd gladly join for them, especially if they take requests.

A quicklook throughback? My god, it is possible!

I remember in Age of Empires II I would make a custom map with no enemies and just build up my resources and construct a crazy medieval town. This reminds me a lot of that.

i remember this i played stronghold crusader and like it. it was the most  fun with the realistic castle walls and stuff. 

when they mentioned this on the bombcast i was like YEAH BOIEEEE 
crusader is way better though, more tactical

Awesome QL Throwback! I really enjoy these and could actually go for a little more video content of this kind. It's an awesome idea for slower weeks either way. 
It is quit surprising how well Stronghold holds up considering the game's age. Few games do strategy in this unique way and I like the cool overview of the features since I never ended up playing much of the series.

I love this game so much I would play it for hours on end just having a shit ton of archers kick the crap out of everyone.

This game is sitting a foot away from me and I've never played it. I think that may change now.

I remember playing Stronghold: Crusader a lot several years ago. That and this was so much fun.

Anyone else think the animations on this look like the ones they had in Constructor? That quirky, late 90s CGI that had us all weak at the kness back in the day xD

Move over Starcraft, Stronghold's got your number! But seriously, this game does seem pretty neat. I would rather play either free build or an economic campaign, as the actual skirmishes do not seem that compelling. Also, to those interested, the Stronghold Collection is actually $20 on Steam. So GOG seems to be the way to go here.
