Tournament of Legends for EVO 2k11

Im getting a BIO FREAKS vibe from this for sure.

Lovin the straight up Ultra and Super meter from SSF4 in this game

Looks interesting, but a fighting game played with the wii remote and nunchuck sounds awful. I like the weapon sets and buffs but that's not enough to draw me. 
edit: Never mind this looks awful.

Did the skeleton really say money shot? that can't be right.

I like the design, but the gameplay looks dumb.

Apparently this game started out as some "gritty" swords and sandals gladiator thing that played like Punch-Out but with Motion Plus controls.
 
Someone it ended up as a weird magic fighting game that was being billed by Sega as a budget party fighting game.

I love Vinny's enthusiasm for everything :)

This game looks HORRIBLE.  If any of the friends who own a Wii buy this game, I will laugh at them for the rest of their lives for spending money on this game.

I don't see why some of you think this looks horrible..  The graphics are good enough, the animations are well done, characters are bright, colorful and interesting. So it doesn't play like most fighting games... why is that bad? Controls seem responsive, the game is corny as hell which adds to the charm. It's no serious fighting game to be sure, but just because you can't 236p doesn't mean it's instantly garbage. This looks like a fun pick up and play casual game.

Are these guys out of their LEAGUE?

humm i find this game quite charming looking for some reason.  Tho every review say the controls are horrible.

I dunno though, i like how it looks graphically from this distance and i like the concept almost.

I was hoping someone would make a sequel to War Gods with motion flailing.

You guys need to give Ryan a break on the quick looks. The last 3 he's been involved in have been nothing but negativity from him. It really, really gets tiring. At least Vinny seemed to be enjoying himself at some points. I don't know if Ryan has played so many games he's jaded or he's just getting sour with age but something has to give.

Seems okay, for $30 not bad.  A shame that Sega decided to change it from the ultra violent Gladiator game that it was originally in hopes that it'd sell more.

this is actually exciting news that crapy fighting games are coming out again. This truly is the mid ninties. 
 
On second look its not terrible to me personally. It might be fun to mash around with a buddy.  Also Ryan enjoyed sin and punishment so I don't think its a "jaded issue" its more of a dude knows what is good and what is bad at this point issue. 

looks like a decent fighting game with some terribly awesome voice acting.
