The UNIEL games are really good fun, sorta glad cross tag is coming out so it gets more exposure.

Jesus, what is up with Ben's audio quality in this video? He's super loud, super echo-y and basically sounds like he's yelling compared to Jeff and Jason.

I loved this game on PS3, definitely gonna pick it up on PS4.

Loved Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late when it came to PC in 2016? Fun fighter for sure, and man these guys sure know how to make a good looking 2D fighting game. Hope this version comes to PC also, I'd love to support these guys if it did. Still, looks awesome. And it looks like some of the tweaks they made to the game are good ideas - and hey the new characters are cute to boot.

This is truly a great looking and playing fighting game. I bought it at release but had not touched it until they played it on UPF. Yuzuriha Sougetsu is my jam, all she wants to do is talk about her smart phone

Used to play Melty Blood (badly) and this reminds me a lot of that (no surprise, given it's the same developer and all). The last character Jeff used is basically Sion, one of the lead characters from the Melty Blood series.

Glad the buttons on the fight stick had their own mic! Boom! Take that Jason!

This game looks pretty good. Its definitely got my attention. As far as the music, I liked how they did the intro on the character select, but the music may still go to MvC2. Not sure about the other stage music.

The "more Ryu than Ryu" guy is a guest character from an old doujin fighting game first released way back in 2003 called Akatsuki Blitzkampf.

I bet you're looking at that title and wondering if it's what you think it is; yup, it totally is what you think it is.

The way Ben pronounces Akatsuki is pretty great, clearly he didn't watch too far into Naruto

This is a really good fighting game to teach new fighting game players. I'd say it's a must buy for that alone. Not to mention it's actually a very fun fighting game that isn't too hard to get the basics of.

Guilty Gear but it's a MOBA!

Games like this make me wish I was still 15 so I could go hard as fuck on it and find a niche local tourney.

Looks good. Anime fighting games tend to lose me with the multiple air dashing and long combos to the point that even intermediate play looks like Marvel. Simpler slower animu game with no air dash is right up my alley (yes I know there are other animu fighters that play like this).

The momentary outcome of the death battle is determined. But the battle isn't over yet. The loser hasn't lost the hope in the eyes. The battle continues until one of you falls silent.

This looks like a lot of fun. I tend to buy most fighting games that come out, so I'm sure this will find its way into my library at some point soon, but I really wish I had people to play it with, since AI gets boring and taking games like this online is just a good way for me to lose a lot.

This game is incredible. Wonderful tutorial, varied characters that hit all the anime fighter character tropes you want. Slower normals (I think fast is 2f slower than a "fast" Street Fighter normal) and auto combos with basically automated jumpins? This game is perfect for new folks and veterans alike. You're not going to body a pro, but you can do so much with just the 100+ tutorial segments.

Melty Blood was also godlike, but I'm glad this game is at least getting a QL. It (and French Bread in general) deserves so much more from the FGC.

Oh and I got such a weird tickle out of one of Sion's trials. She still got that baseball swing into double jump air throw combos! That's some Melty-ass Melty!

Does this version not have the DD to consume grid meter?

While it's certainly better than many fighting games, and it doesn't seem to suffer as badly from translation issues, I would hesitate to call the text "well-written".

i.e., "The Death-Battle. The Battle isn't over. The Battle continues!" Battle battle battle.

This seems like one of those games that if I had more time and someone to play/practice with I would be super into.

I don't have a PS4, but maybe it'll be more in my budget when it comes to Steam.

I love this game to death and I’m very stoked that GB did a QL on it. It is getting overshadowed by DBFZ sadly, but it is currently one of the best entry points for fighting games on the market thanks to its tutorial.

One of my favourite examples of that is Root Double: Before Crime * After Days - every time I read it I just think "Yep, those are six English words...".
