Why does that bloke reply to ever question with 'so'?

"So. . . I'm replying to this question you've just asked"

Bloody annoying!! Love the look of this game, the first one was fantastic and I'm looking forward to getting this. Not going to pay £29.99 for it though, considering I got the original in the THQ big bastard pack which cost £27 during the xmas steam sale and contained LOADS of games.

The original DaW + expansions are pretty much traditional rts. Unless you mean there's no rushing in the multiplayer, in which case there's pretty much no such thing.

Never tried the Last Stand mode before but this convinced me, I figured it was just basic heroes, no idea there was all the unlocking new gear stuff.

Just spent a few hours lost in it, alot of fun. Loving the Chaos Sorceror.

Babylon 5 representing! I watched the pilot (The Gathering) and the first 2 episodes this morning. The first time I watched it was last summer over the course of a month or two and its become one of my favourite tv series (and franchise's) of all time.

I am not into RTS's, I am more of a turn based strategy gamer but this quick look has really got me interested in this game.

I'm so proud of you guys! Especially Vinny. There are so many opportunities to have gotten little details about the 40k universe wrong, but you got so many things right! =D Well done!

Been holding off on buying Chaos Rising, but this makes me want some more DoW2...

Oh, also, +1 to Dan Abnett books. Any of them. The Gaunt's Ghosts is awesome. The Horus Heresy series, from most of the writers, is great (and describes the fall into Chaos). The series I think you'd guys enjoy the most, though, is the tales of Ciaphas Cain by Sandy Mitchell. Swagger and a happy-go-lucky fellow stumbling his way through fame and danger to become HERO OF THE IMPERIUM!

Eisenhorn by Dan Abnett.

If you're looking for a great 40k book, this is what you want.   It's size may be a bit daunting, but it's actually three books and a short story all put together.   It gives a great look at how gritty, cruel and goddamn huge the 41st millennium is.

Cool about the Librarian. Kinda like the Paladin of Diablo 2, except you don't need to play online to make him worth while. I haven't been paying attention to this game since I still haven't finished the main DOW2 campaign, but it looks cool. I'll pick it up on the cheap down the line.

Long live Steam sales.

I would love to play this game, but my computer can never handle it.

One day though....  (Once everyone else has stopped playing, proboly...)

I hate to compare this to SC2, but I gotta say...  SC2 runs on my system perfectly.  I get that this game is really REALLY pretty, but I just wish they could have been more lenient with the system reqs...

I'm curious,  is that the only camera angle you get to use during the game...?  Or you can actually freely move around...?   because  I recall in the first DOW,  you can move around freely?

Cyrus is utterly broken in this game, I love it.

In Chaos Rising, his melee max rank ability lets him use energy to plant mines, det packs and remote detonation bombs.
He was a beast in the original, but without the restriction of having to use supply crates? The other 3 squads literally became spectators to the one-man show of awesome that was Cyrus.

You guys should really consider using sidechaining in Quick Looks.  The audience will actually be able to hear the game's audio, but it wouldn't compete with your commentary.
