It looks like the grandparents were in their late 30's/early 40's when their grandkids were born. WTF? Can't the people who wrote this game do basic math and make them like 20 years older so they're at least age appropriate?

The whole family tree is fucked up.

? My grandmother was in her early 20s when she had my mom, and my mom was in her early 20s when she had me - meaning that when I was born, my grandmother was in her early 40s. This isn't unusual at all.

@senate4242: Close, the quote is:

"There is an art to flying, or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. ... Clearly, it is this second part, the missing, that presents the difficulties."

In the series the way Arthur Dent "misses" the ground is that the moment he trips and begins to fall he spots a suitcase of his that an airline once lost and wasn't able to locate. The strangeness of the fact that he is on an alien world and so is a long lost piece of his luggage distracts him enough to make him forget he tripped and was falling and as a result of not paying attention he "misses" the ground.

Seems heavily inspired by 100 Years of Solitude.

A video game has never made me motion sick before but oh man, that segment on the swing set was rough!

Yeah people talk about how games can make you feel vertigo, but that swing part is on another level.

If you're planning on playing this, don't watch this quick look, come back after you finish the game. It was well worth it and I'm glad I saw pretty much nothing before I went in. The 25 dollar price tag is a little hard for some people to swallow and I get that, but put a little bit of money away or wait for a sale if you have too. Whatever you decide, give these developers some money because art like this deserves to continue. It doesn't feel pretentious or unfocused, it has a clear message and goal it wants to get across, and it walks the fine line between genuine and emotionally manipulative better than you might think. If you enjoyed the film Big Fish, you're definitely going to want to check this out.

I got to play a demo of this at PSX last year and what stood out to me was how awesome their booth was. They had it in the style of the living room in the game with stacks of books everywhere and even had that cool tree stump table that Vinny was admiring. I told them how much I liked it and they told me iam8bit designed it for them.

Dang, half these comments are age calculations.

This looks lovingly crafted and weird and tragic. Gonna pick it up for sure.

Even thought it's fake virtual character deaths being shown in an artistic manner, still found it a bit rough seeing stories of kids dying. Guess I'm just a bit sensitive to that.
