Abby and Dan are great and this feeling isn't a reflection on them, but I'm super not in a place to revel in American iconography (ironically or not) considering our government is actively carrying out an agenda of ethnic cleansing. Gonna sit this series out.

I'm so glad to see this continuing. Hopefully the controversy people made of it last time (Which I didn't help by argueing back I admit) is dead and buried.

Long story short. If this series is going to offend you, don't watch it. For everyone else, lets enjoy the content!

A good hint for this game is all of the music cues. The game has them for coming across a clue, finding all of the clues, and correct and incorrect lines of questioning.

Also, slight spoiler, but the whole set of murder investigations is a story arc that connects the cases.

Most countries try and make amends for doing this kind of thing. They get embarrassed about their history and try not to highlight it. Look at modern Germany, they are very strict on hate crime etc and they’ve become one of Europe’s most economically successful and respected countries when only 70 years ago they were broke and despised the world over.

The USA seems to revel in its past rather than trying to make amends for it or sweep it under a rug. The Statue of Liberty has a poem on it which is all about people coming to America to be free, and yet when they try, their children are torn away from them and they are locked up. Now we have a video series where someone dresses up as the Statue of Liberty with pride.

I believe LA Noire takes place in 1947, not the 1950's as @ybbaaabby said. I think there was an achievement/trophy on 360/PS3 for driving 194.7 miles (probably the same on the remastered versions). Also, I remember when I played it, thinking it was ridiculous how many times Cole gets transferred over the course of one year. You'd think time would pass and it would be 1948/1949, but nope. Whenever you see a date on a piece of evidence, it's 1947.

Yeah, not really in the headspace for this. America rah rah was always super annoying to me to begin with, but doubling down on it given current and recent events is just a big fat nope from me.

I believe that case had no good resolution. It was either lock up the non-murderer pervert(what the captain wanted), or lock up the real murderer, which leaves the little girl with no parents and the pervert walks the streets.

13 Deadly Sims was literally a series about getting joy from murdering co-workers, but I didn't see anyone complaining about that.

Not sure the timing on this one is, uh, great.
