I love Die Hard 2, what monster doesn't like that one.

I don't know how anyone who has used any type of voice recognition software can honestly believe your phone is picking up snippets of conversation in poor acoustic conditions and accurately serving ads based on that.

I think people just generally don't know how far reaching and ubiquitous things like Facebook tracking pixels are and don't realize how subtle browsing habits are resulting in the ads they're getting served.

Die Hard 4 was a pretty damn good movie and reviewed very well too. There is also an R Rated cut of it to be found.

Now Die Hard 5, that's a piece of crap.

If Brad isn't going to use the save state, then double the amount of streams. Or have a stream and Brad can't stop until he beats 8-4. Or stream the game every single day. Life cannot continue until he beats this game...

...Or he just uses the save state. Don't listen to chat. It will be fine. Just use the save state.

@benpack If you are a big DKC2 fan, you should definitely check out the Yooka-Laylee sequel, it is secretly a very good DKC game, the movement mechanics are basically taken as-is. It has some great level design and the over world itself has a lot of interesting puzzles.

I have never seen Ben be so wrong about something. Die Hard 4 is great, and Timothy Olyphant is a fantastic bad guy in it. Now Die Hard 5 is a steaming pile of crap.

Die Hard 4 is a fun action flick and a bad Die Hard movie. I haven't seen 5, but I heard it is absolute trash and on the level of most of movies Bruce Willis has starred in over the past decade.

I am really happy to see you not use save states. I think you just need to do these a bit more freuqently, you completely forgot about crouch jumps in 8-4 this week, for example. You can do it! You just need the knowledge an training not to disappear between the weeks you don't play.

@eldredpe: The more I think about it, the more silly "advertisers are listening in" seems. It has a similar vibe to people who think vaccines have microchips in them to track you.

I'm not sure if people stop and think about what we all use the internet for, but think about it like this: Why would they need to listen to us when we literally type in every thought, want, and need into the internet daily? Including thoughts that people would never speak out loud to anyone in the first place? Why limit data to what we talk about when the things they can get off of your search history is everythiiiiiing. Social media usage, streamers you like, news channels you prefer, celebrities you follow, locations you visit or want to visit, brands you prefer, memes you look at, websites you frequent...etc, etc. If you wanted to get info on someone, would you try grabbing that info off of a conversation muffled by their pocket and surrounded by external noise being filtered through voice recognition software? Or a text string that also comes with their location, what app they're using, what type of phone they're on, how big their screen is, what Wifi network they're connected to...?

We use the internet to look up everything, and our phones and computers tell our browser a whole lot about us even when we just search one word. It's really easy to build a profile of someone out of all that data.

Anyways uh...that sucks, Brad! But it was reaaaaally funny! Lol. Great episode as always.
