Watch_Dogs totally came out on WiiU. Pretty much in-line with the shitty last-gen versions. So did acouple Assassin's Creeds, Black Ops 2 and CoD: Ghosts, Arkham City and Arkham Origins, a handful of other third party games. Most were bad ports.

The Deus Ex: HR port though.... that was fucking ace. Genuinely the best console version of that game.

Listening to Vinny join on the rule "no talk about Hatred" that Alex and Patrick agreed on last year was a big let down, i don't really care much about that game but i would have loved to hear his opinion about it and the concepts around. Plus decisions like that kinda remind me the feeling that they think about the shows in a commercial sense (promoting or not games) instead of speaking freely, and i don't like that feeling at all, i like some degree of illusion :(

@cagliostro88: I mean, if they don't want to to talk about that game they're free to not talk about it. It's not about whether or not to give anything "promotion", it's about not wanting to talk about something they find to go against their personal values.

That was a great e-mail about online play.

While I think it is childish to not study a game further than its trailer and make your own opinion of it, instead listening to the myriad of games journalists who all seem to share opinions identically on things (suuuure there's not a secret forum for them somewhere?), Hatred is still a modern take on Postal and pretty gross just on being a game of taking out civilians for no good reason.

I'm never forgetting the Utøya massacre, photos from helicopters and survivor accounts. That's what I can't shake as I'm watching streams of it, but make it zombies and let's go!

@amyggen: i know, but i never heard before Vinny say "i don't wanna talk about it" at a direct question about a game. It kinda breaks the spell, and make me thinks about "why". Plus this attitude of "complete radio silence" just envigorates the aura around what in reality seems to be just a mediocre twin shooter with nothing that is so upsetting to deserve it. I mean, after hearing he didn't want to talk about it i went to gamespot and watched Danny and Andy play it, laugh at it, doing stuff that is no even close to the hilarious but gory things Vinny himself does to npcs in various games. At best this game seems could have provided me some entertainment throught a quicklook of the classic bad game where Vinny does stupid stuff, at worst a simple i don't care would have been enough. I thought last summer teached us all that the policy of complete silence only worsen things when they can be teared easily through and forgotten if faced directly

Hatred wasn't on my radar, now I had to check out a gameplay video. Looks stupid. Like a top down version of Grand Theft Auto that takes itself too seriously.

Anyway, loving this podcast. I can't help but think Jeff might be Snider for a few seconds before his name is mentioned. They have very similar voices.
