The Beastcast RSS feed often seems like it has to be manually updated by the guys when they get back into the office, this is probably one of those times. So you probably just have to give it some time.

Hey Vinny, Alex, Austin and Jeff. It's been tested/confirmed that you can change the Wii U internal clock forward to unlock all the tools straight away. If you play 5 minutes per 'day' you can unlock each days' tools.

I don't know if that Nintendo guy necessarily "fucked up." I mean I guess? If he broke some intrinsic corporate rules about business disclosure then yah he made a mistake, but it doesn't seem like some colossal fuckup and certainly not something you should straight away get the axe for. Maybe a reprimand but straight up termination? Thats rough even for a big corporation - but I guess it's also pretty standard for a Japanese company.

Alex was hyping this one up quite a bit. Let's hear it.

It's interesting to me to see how far Sony and Nintendo are from each other now when it comes to what they allow their employees to do and say in the public, when both are old Japanese companies. Nintendo is still very much an old school Japanese company that rarely lets their employees speak freely about anything (Jared being at Nintendo is probably the reason why he's not on the Powerbombcast anymore, even if it's not game-related I'm guessing it's enough that it's hosted by a gaming site). Sony has gone into a completely different direction, with Adam sitting on the couch with drunk Lang and drunk Johnny V on GB live shows, just shooting the shit about whatever.

The guys talk about Russ Frushtick and can't come up with an animal for his house?!?! Some friend of his...guess you guys aren't BEST friends. His house's animal is clearly a GIRAFFE. A NEW YORK GIRAFFE.

Private loans with interest are perfectly valid in the U.S. as long as they conform to your state's usury laws. Like, here in NY, I believe the usury rate is 16%. A personal loan agreement with an interest rate higher than that is deemed invalid and thus cannot be enforced.

@alex I don't think hating Sonic fans is all that irrational. The again, I kind of hate "fandoms" in general as they tend to bring out the absolute worst in people. I think the only reason I've been able to enjoy anime again after not watching any for years is staying as far away from fandoms as humanly possibly.

Edit: Also the last couple of minutes of this Podcast are truly, truly beautiful.
