I played Ikari Warriors on NES so much as a kid. One of the best co-op games of all time. I never beat it without the ABBA code. The problem was my controller was so bad because it was used when I got the NES so it was old and worn and most of the time the ABBA code did not work and it was a thrill if I could input the code before it was to late and you died. I screamed A B B A!! common A B B A!!!!!!!!! and pressed with all my force on that shitty controller. I've never had controllers so bad as those old NES controllers were.

Jeff needs the audio waaaaaaay lower. It should be light background music, and it's then inly way to hear Jeff speak

This is what happens when people constantly complain about very minor or subjective audio issues during livestreams. When there's actual, glaring audio issues as we see here (game volume being way too loud), they get ignored because everyone's gotten used to (rightfully) ignoring the frequent complaints about audio levels.
