Watch the JustinTV feed. Seems to improve on the audio after 30 or so minutes.

Entertaining TNT. Battlefield 3 multi player is a blast.

Ok, got it figured. For every 100 seconds, the audio is ahead by 1 second. I'm not that familiar with available video software, but I put up a function in excel where I put how far I was in minutes, and had it calculate how much I should skip the audio by. Or, alternatively, you can increase the skip by .1 every 10 seconds.

Some of the stuff he's talking about at 1:25:00 and on, with joint parachute drops and stuff like that not having been done before... it had. It was the driving force of Planetside. PS was mediocre, but carried itself on the scope of the warfare. A lot of that found its way into BF2142, albeit in a scale more suiting to a round based game with only 32 players on each side.

Mike murdered this on TNT. Also weird that i didn't have audio sync problems during the live stream.

Man, I was looking foward to watching this, too bad the audi de-sync makes this unwatchable

even downloaded it's out of sync. And by a long way too, like 9 seconds. You can adjust syncing in VLC but when i tried adjusting it too much, the audio went completely dead.

Same here, VLC couldn't handle multiple adjustments and decided to shut audio off entirely.

Giantbomb staff, you should just reupload a proper version of this video, this is not the quality we expect from you.

If you watch the Justin version the lag fixes itself once they switch the feed to gameplay.

No update on fixing this?

I know people already said it, but the sound gets very out of sync.

Otherwise, I managed to catch it live, and it was a great TNT.

This was a great TNT and made me remember everything i loved about Battlefield 2. Looking forward to playing Battlefield 3 with 64 players soon - First task: Get in a helicopter and crash it into the enermy!

Audio sync is pretty significantly off, but entertaining TNT nonetheless.

While I agree that the out of game option to do all the battle log stuff, it fucking SUCKS not being able to do it in game. As an option, it'd be awesome. As the only way to find a game? Meh, pretty fucking obnoxious if you ask me. I don't often need to chill outside of the game waiting for stuff, I'm not in a fantasy combat league, I'm playing a damn game.

I'm definitely getting BF3 after watching this!

I downloaded both Justin.tv video, bitrate is just horrible since there's none stop action.

Does the existence of a working tricaster provide a means to fix the audio?  Honestly I have no idea what a tricaster is or does, I'm going to just picture Vinny or Drew plugging away on a tricorder during the filming of these things.

This makes me want to turn on Battlefield 3 right now and crash some jets and helicopters.

The audio sync here is way off still!

Mike knew to change to IGLA when taking down choppers, but then repeatedly tries to destroy tanks with it too.

Woo, That was awesome! Hadn't seen this because of the audio de-sync -- good show.

Sad they don't do stuff like this anymore. This is what made me sign up for the site.
