    I got the following: 
     
    2.4 Core 2 Duo 
    4gig Ram 
    9400M 
     
    Can't use the desktop as my brother got FF14.  :| 
     
    Also if I play in the hex view, does it go easier on the CPU/GPU?

    are you running dx10 or dx9? also if AA is on.. shut it off.

    I'd say: Try the demo. But that would require the game to be out for mac. :(

    As far as I can tell the game runs infinitely better under DX9 than DX10 or DX11.    Sad to sacrifice some visuals, but I would much prefer to have a stable game over a pretty one.

    Oh my bad.  I'm retarding for not reading the title of the thread.  I didn't realize this was on a Mac.

    Even on a PC the DX10 and DX11 version seems unstable for me.
