Just played this demo off of Steam and holy crap its amazing! Beat it at the highest difficulty and it wasn't to hard. Great looking and plays great. Actually its probably the funnest demo I have ever played.

I found it to be a pleasant surprise as well, but I don't think I'm quite at your level of excitement.

If it was about 1/2 the price I'd totally grab it, but I'll wait for now because I can tell it''ll get old quick.

It looks amazing, but then again, Max Payne 3 and D3 in four weeks.

The demo was really fun. I won't buy it anytime soon, but I'll try to rent it off of Gamefly when it comes out.

Holy fuck. I played the demo on PS3 and I had a lot of fun, but I was hoping for a PC demo. I just played the PC demo and I think this game just became my most wanted game of games coming out soon. I played it on the hardest difficulty and just wrecked everything. So fun!

Edit: Played it on the highest difficulty, only because you don't get real ballistics on any other setting. Also, the ballistics in this game suck ass, and yet at the same time are awesome. The bullet deformation is not nearly enough, but its great to see a round tumble through 3 guys. The one thing that gets me is how much the rounds drop in this game. Its like gravity is 2 or 3 times stronger.

It's only fun at the highest difficulty, just like the first game.

I can't play the demo on my PC, sadly the game just keeps crashing, can't even get to the menu..

I wish they'd re-designed the levels a bit to allow more stealth and flanking. I wish I could jump from roof to roof and enter the buildings like a real sniper.

You played the original Ahmad? It was a fair bit less linear than this Demo level, but also so much harder. You had a small section of streets you could roam around in with some buildings/warehouses for vantage points.

Also can't wait to try the PC version after playing the Xbox one and enjoying it.

Sadly I played about 1 hour of it. I remember it being dead hard yeah, and more open than this demo.

I only played it a couple of years ago on recommendation from my cousin. Good times. We managed to not only connect to the (still running) servers through his PS3, but actually join the only remaining game with two crazy German people.

Mouse feels weird as hell. Seems cool though.

Oh GOD, this is fucking GREAT.

Played the PC demo and had a bunch of fun, played the Xbox version and turned it off within 5 minutes... definitely a game for keyboard and mouse!

Holy shit, I shot someone's holstered grenade by accident... it went SUPER slow motion, slower than normal, and then an extremely slow-mo explosion.

That sounds... amazing, I must try this now.

I'm enjoying the demo, but the enemies have superhuman sense which is kind of a piss-off. Can barely get out of the first building without the street patrols just pouring after me. Otherwise it was a fantastic demo.

At least they can't wreck your shit in less than 1 second like in the first Sniper Elite.

I was so excited when I popped both kidneys in a guy.

Grenade shots are fucking great and well worth the price of admission.

Game is pretty awesome, I loved the original, and it looks like they totally build on what made it fun and clean up a lot of the issues it had.

the game is cool for and hour or two. Then gimmick fun runs out

I played the demo, and I really like how realistic the sniping is. One thing that I do not understand though is how the "stealth" works. I feel as if the regular soldiers will see me from across the map no matter what. I have tried staying in shadows, crawling and ducking, and using the cover system to no avail.

Sniper Elite V2 demo is a good demo. *Keep your volume low if you click*
