Question has already been answered but I believe there will be the simple process of matchmaking. I'm not quite sure if there will be lobbies or scoreboards yet though.

Online play should be pretty fun and I am looking forward to it.

Well out of the few people actually online on it right now i've only had a few lag filled matches i think their connections were just crap cause the rest worked just fine( some local stores broke street date and I just got my copy today) :  )

So is the 4 person lobby 100%? I only seen 1 person say it so far. If so does it have a DOA kinda lobby,  or do you just queue up right into the action and wait your turn?

yeah you can set the player matches for 4 player slots yet there doesn't seem to be a doa style lobby, I'm not exactly sure how those matches work because people only seem to be joining ranked matches and those only have 1 player slot

yes sir,

theres a ranked for the "pure" characters (none custom ones) and a ranked for custom characters

look up dantheislands videos on gametrailers hes got lots of info on there
